Hangar Showdown:
1st impressions excited for an ADDITIONAL match making not knowing it was going to get rid of both 2v2 and 5v5.
I liked the idea of different Leagues facing each other in those leagues and how each league has different things locked / unlocked depending on the league.
I like how hang showdown kind of evens the playing field by having all mechs and weapons being used Max out full stars.
I absolutely think the failure is that someone in league 2, with locked mods, max SP of 4k, barely having dual weilding 8's on each mech, can be matched against League 1 players with 15,000-19,000 SP hangars all mechs full legendary mods, all weapons dual weilding the most powerful highest energy possible.
Its one thing to LOCK a player down in a league in hopes that he's going up against others in the same league with similar hangar powers / squad powers... Quite another to cut the player off at the knees in essense by locking Mods and yet putting them up against end game players?
Tournaments are overwhelmingly ran by SP droppers / players manipulating match making to give honest players no chance in competing for the top prizes and yet you do nothing about it as its been a problem for a very long time. This too will just be another dominated by match making abusers and us regular players wont have a chance to compete for the rewards...
at least in 2v2 before Hangar Showdown i'd be matched to similar SP or within 500-1000 sp and still have a fighting chance. This new Hangar Showdown is hot garbage for match making...
I see you are returning 5v5 but honestly this new play mode has left a horrible taste in many peoples mouths.
It is definitely making me question how much time and hard earned money I spend from here further...
