
Yes, your bank can be negative. And negative bank no longer goes back to zero at the server reset, it stays until you load the troops back in. Which means it is no longer possible to continually make a profit from infests, because you have to load whatever you gained back in before you can get another payout. So in the long term you can only ever break even (you actually lose some, since there is a tax of around 3% on each payout). So now the only reason to do infests is to convert from one troop type to another, or to get points for the infest tournaments, in order to get the imperial gauss guns or dizzys to cut down your credit consumption.Hello,
After doing infests for 3 weeks I have some questions which some of you, maybe have the answer.
1) The first question is, when i use my "Excel sheet" with troops load/troops gains. I figured out, that i win more or less 10%. Is it possible to win way more or do you think there is a cap?
2) When you get your Full paid then you kill the last yellow one. If on my "Excel Sheet" my bank value is negative (Meaning that i won more than what i lost) is my bank really negative or just at 0. The question is : Can the bank be under 0.
3) Finally, if the bank can be at 0, Is it restart at 0 the day after ?

Is the formula (65xN^3,14)x1,5 N=Level of the infest good for knowing how much is needed for having a full pay?

Sorry, had a busy week with school so haven't had as much time to post on forums as I would have liked. Yeah, you don't really need the chart now (although it's still nice to keep track of your bank just to know how things are going). The best way to do them is only finish any infests off during the tournaments, that way you get points for everything you kill. I'm just using them to trade everything toward dizzys (any time I win fighters, bcs, etc send it back in, and keep any dizzys) this is the best way to build a big offense. Raiding is a lot more important now, since you can't make a profit from the infests, and the tournaments only go so far (although they do help). Yes it has taken the strategy out of doing infests, but I suppose that was the goal, since plarium was receiving many complaints that they were too difficult to do. Now it's simple, you just throw your troops at them during tournaments, lose the 3% tax on each payout, but usually make it back in imperial units from the reward.So the General T Winters is editing my message without answering...

With the new infest system, you said in another thread that the payout threshold has been increased by 50%. Is that 50% higher than the 80-90% max resource loading value, or 50% higher than the full max loading value?
For instance, at level 100, the old system was:

90% Value: 134,022,420
So under the old system, you would try to trigger your level 100 site (or 95-100 site, if you got that random "no payout" reward), you would need to shoot for a bank of 119-134 million. Correct? (Although my records indicate payouts typically paid out between 110-128 million, so this should still result in a net loss).
Now, under the new system, are you saying this?

Commanders, I remind you that Infestations are not a type of easy activity to get troops. This is not a matter of good luck, it implies using of a strategy and making hard efforts. So if you want to get decent rewards, you should work on them. Test new methods and develop your tactics to benefit from this activity, see consistency. Infestations are not designed for Commanders who prefer clicking on Troops selected without thinking.

I haven't noticed a significant change in the amount of power in infests, but I don't do them that often so if somebody wants to post screenshots I'll analyze them and post my results.
The same rewards are possible on both games, you could win 30k interceptors here although most payouts are a mix of offense and defense so you'd be more likely to get like 20k interceptors and 2k battle cruisers.No, the max level infest is 150. Introduction
• The infestations work based on a total resources figure Urainium + Titanium + Credits once that total figure is reached the site will payout, no matter how much of each resources is in it doesn't effect what gets paid back it is just based on the total only.
• So based on that to get the fastest return you need to build the units that cost the most to build in the shortest time i call this loading as you are loading the resources into the infestations to reach that total figure in the shortest time possible before you finally break the site. You can't determine what you will win but if it is not a unit that you desire then simply invest the resources needed for another level and cap to get another win.
• You can't loose resources but you can loose total power based on the units you win as some are more expensive than others, if you win air you will notice a decrease in power if you win artilley you will notice an increase in power. You can also get resources stuck in the infestations this happens when you have overloaded the site and that level can only pay so much back don't worry about this you can pull this resources back out again on the next infestation win.
• How would you know what resources are in there??? Well you can either track via a spreadsheet or what i do is note how much my army is in resources when you start, when you win add up your total resources again what ever the difference is is whats left in the site.
Loading Phase
• Ok so like i said earlier you need to load the most resources in the shortest time possible the best offense build combo is-
The best Offense combo is- Nemesis, Thunderbolts, Disintergrators, Exterminators Total resources every 24 hours = 589k per 24 hours
The best defense combo is- Combat Chassis, Vipers, Quantum Cannons and Excal's = 526k per 24 hours
The best all round combination for maximum resources per 24 hours and balancing the resources is-Nemesis, Thunderbolts, Quantum Cannons and Excal's = 608k per 24 hours
The best all round combination using elite's-
Nemesis, Thunderbolts, Quantum Cannons, Elite Disintergrator, Excal, Elite Exterminators = 912k/344 crystals per 24 hours

• You can load for what ever time you wish if a site needs for example 30 million resources to pay and you load for 10 days = 10 million resources simply make the difference up with your army to win back the 10 million investment if you dont wish to use your army then load of the time needed for that site to pay out on this occasion 30 million resources would mean 30 days loading before you break the site.
Breaking and winning from infestations
• Offense infestations- To know how much it will take to break an infestation i use one type of unit sending waves of 20,000 points once the site changes from Red > Orange bar it equals 10% killed on that site so add up the units killed to reach Orange X 10 and deduct what you sent from that figure this will tell you what you need to send to kill the other 90% using one type of unit though.
• Nemesis = 190
• Thunderbolts= 40
• Plasma Cannons= 20
• Disintergrators= 15
• Fighters= 10
• Battlecruisers= 9
• Defensive infestations- Because you get to see what is in the site there is a much simpler method you send 10 of the same defensive units what ever it kills you deduct what you killed from the total figure then divide what you killed by the figure you are left with then X 10 that will give you the total figure needed to kill the site.
• The best way to know how much to invest on an infestation is to find a recent report that someone has posted add together the resources paid out this is the figure needed to win off that infestation i do think there is a range but as long as the figure you find off the report is reached you know you will win. Each time we win if we post in this page we will find out the amounts needed for each level i have started this already but i only have the higher levels look in forums if you need to find out your sites amount if it cannot be found in this page.
• Non mission sites will pay all resources back where as mission sites only pay part of the invested resources back so i use the mission sites to load the resources then break the non mission i wish to win off once all resources are paid you will be in the minus by 50% of that wins total resources so say if the win equaled 50 million resources your Rbonus (infest bank) will be -25 million you must be in positive to win so going for a site that pays less than 25 million after winning off a site that paid 50 million means you will blank.
Spending nodes
• Based on what we have learnt i would personally use the nodes on;
• Exterminator or excal
• Disintergrator or qc
• Credit Cost
• Thunderbolts
• Nemesis
Any units that can be won from the infestations in my opinion are a waste of time reducing the build time accept the ones i listed units that can't be won you may wish to upgrade thats personal preferance i.e i like valks as my infantry and on infestations you rarely ever get a valk payout as you get higher up.
