I want my league back

Plarium has breached its terms of use, User agreement and terms of use policy by destroying my league.

Since my league is a property they have also broken South African property laws. And several International laws governing virtual property rights.

Plarium gave me no notice that a league activity feature will be implemented in the game.

A condition that should have up to 2 months notice.

Furthermore they implemented this feature during the Holidays. I came back today and foundyone man league gone. I worked for over 3 years on the league, Singly hand. I had a level 5 fort thatwas ready to be upgraded to level 8

 I am considering legal action

Your league was virtual goods with no monetary value.  Also, you had 2 weeks notice that the league would be dismissed.  If you didn't log into the game for over 2 weeks it's your own fault.

But if you think you have any legal standing, feel free to consult your attorney.  They'll explain to you why you don't.
Is this the official statement from plarium about this matter. Be advised that I take your trolling on a very serious note

Really?   Thou shalt log in at least once every 2 weeks or you shall lose everything!

Only tyrants would have implemented this 2 week feature.   It doesn't matter that it was 1 week in the beginning, and that we should all bow down and be grateful to our masters for letting us have an additional week.    No.

If the true intention is to eliminate inactive leagues....120 days instead of 14 days would achieve the same result, while still allowing for most real life events, including burnout, to run their course.

There is absolutely no reason to implement such a short 14 day timer.

I also question why the devs implemented this feature without warning during the holidays where many players may not log in.   We knew it was coming at some point, unfortunately, but we didn't know it would be so soon and during the holidays.  At best, I figured it would be sometime in January.

12 - 18 months is plenty of time, in my opinion, along with a preset 'time in game'. Under 24 hours in game activity should be removed in 3-6 months and beyond that it should be 12-18 months.

If the devs are going to force this 3 year thing down our throats, please do not give them any ideas on reducing that time.

I took over a year off from Facebook, and well over 18 months away from Plarium.com.   Had I lost my prior work and was forced to restart, I never would have come back.

If I can't have my League back. Then I will have to move on. My league was the only good thing I did in this game. 2000 Sapphire is a joke. I spend way more than that. Winning forts events, ect. not to mention how much it cost me in monetary value to complete league achievement.

We will all need to move on now that their plans for WebGL have collapsed

Probably the best thing for all of us

Hello, Oracle!

First of all, I'm sorry to hear your League got dismissed.

Secondly, we didn't post any news about this change on Forum and it's our gap. We already fixed it: https://plarium.com/forum/en/stormfall-age-of-war/-news-and-announcements/120526_new-feature---league-activity-/

However, you received the dismissal timer in the game itself.

Now, regarding the feature itself:

1. To become inactive a player should be offline for more than 14 days.

2. You receive dismissal timer ONLY if your League activity is below 60%.

3. Your League will be dismissed in 14 days after you got the timer.

It means that in general, you had enough time to save your League from dismissal by increasing its activity. It could have been done in three ways:

- Removing inactive players.

- Adding new active players to the League.

- Moving inactive players to League Academy which is not counted in League activity.

If we talk in terms of the law, we didn't break any: https://www.screencast.com/t/yRIgYg0Z7 (the reference to point 5 of our Terms of Use)

You can get 2k of Sapphires you spent for the League creation by entering to another League.

The fact we stopped WebGL project doesn't mean we'll close the games.

The only thing it means is that devs are working on another solution, not WebGL, that's it.

Plarium kept telling us that there were 'no plans' to shut down the servers at Kongregate.com but we tried to login one day and the plug had been pulled with no warning

Plarium kept telling us that there were no plans to shut down the servers at Kabam.co, but we tried to login there one day and were told our accounts were being moved to plarium.com
This was botched and hundredes of players lost their accounts

We have heard it all before. You just haven't finalised your plans yet

What happened to all the lost Yahoo accounts and Google+ accounts?

You kept telling us that no upgrades would be added until WebGL was completed and Spart was already converted, but then we were suddenly inundated with multiple EXPENSIVE updates with no explanations

Plarium/Aristocrat have no serious interest in browser games

You're deliberately writing monkish replies on my post in order to entice emotions and ban me or close the post.

Plarium implemented a feature that destroy leagues during a holiday season. They know the kind of players who play this game. they also know what kind of game this is. They gave no notification that these feature will be implemented. They just implemented.

Plarium was mandated to warn players in advance that they will lose their in game goods so the said players could take precautionary measures. They failed to do this.

Its part of your duties to be a bridge between players and support team. SO FAR YOU HAVE SHOWN NOTHING BUT HOSTILITY AND BLATANT TROLLING. You have not taken any measure to resoleve my issue. nor have you reported this issue to support.A policy you were supposed to follow.

Is it because I am Black?

Stiletto, in both cases you mentioned the warning was given in a couple of weeks.

On Forums I'm sharing the information I have right now and it sounds like "We don't have any plans to close plarium.com games".

We're interested in all browser games and closing them is not what we're planning to do.

Oracle, your ethnic nationality has nothing to do with the replies you receive on Forum. If you hadn't mentioned it so often, nobody would even pay attention to this fact.

As for the feature itself, you received a warning about your League dismissal in advance in the game itself. The 14-days timer is displayed on the main screen of the game.

Wait... if they pulled webGl what is facebook running on?  stormfall was facebooks flagship game that moved over to WebGl.

Plarium are also planning to delete all castles over 3 years inactive - they lose everythingand have to start again at level one

I believe this is reasonable.

We could discuss whether 3 years is the right cut-off.

But server space does actually cost money. The expectation that companies would hold data indefinitely well beyond the period where a player might reasonably choose to come back to a game is counter productive for us players as well. That generates a dead overhead that could be invested into new development and features.

Looking around the map, 80/90% of castles never make it past the first hour of gameplay. Would we want to say they have no right to remove these?

Nothing to do with server space and nothing to do with lowest level players

Plarium will claim that this is because of new European Laws, but can we trust plarium's interpretation of the laws?  ... and can we trust the software they use to shut down these castles?
We have already seen complaints from facebook players who lost everything after only 59 days inactive, not 3 years (with screenshots to prove last login 59 days)

This is from plarium servers, and we will see many of these 'Hero' castles soon   http://prntscr.com/m3ohx0

So why not convert them to Vacant Lots instead so that players can return in the future?

More bad decisions made by the wrong people with no way to repair the damage they do

Hello!

It's done not because we wanted to do it, but because of GDPR and its interpretation is very clear: https://eugdpr.org/privacy-policy/

> We have already seen complaints from facebook players who lost everything after only 59 days inactive, not 3 years (with screenshots to prove last login 59 days)

All such complaints should be forwarded to support team as I haven't seen any confirmed reports where account of active player was deleted because of GDPR.

> So why not convert them to Vacant Lots instead so that players can return in the future?

When your Castle is converted to a vacant slot, you also will need to start playing the game from the very beginning.

@DJ Moody

Its impossible to submit a ticket. You have to do the same recap 15 times over. then when you press submit it goes back to the support home page. I did this over and over and over again. Since plarium deleted our forum messages, I don't have some support members emails.

They are certain SA laws that are in my favour

The problem is this will cost me a lot. and then there is SA-Israel relation. My friend (Who is a commercial lawyer) advised me against the move.. I am hoping that Plari will find it in its hard stoned heart to do what is right and restore my league.

If I can't have my League back. Then I will have to move on. My league was the only good thing I did in this game. 2000 Sapphire is a joke. I spend way more than that. Winning forts events, ect. not to mention how much it cost me in monetary value to complete league achievement.

correct, thats what we got, you and I both saw the complaints on the community page with some players were reset to level 1 castle and could'nt access their own castle

With Oracle's complaint, if he took a sshot of his league and its badges in the past and saved it there could be a chance to get it back, I saw a case on my facebook server a long time ago when they 1st implemented league activity on us where a marshal was able to get his league back
