Just wanted to say thank you, ANBU, for your detailed explanation about the sequencing of two attack strategy to overcome BGs and get rewarded with higher level units than you used for that quest. I was not even aware of how that worked until I read your explanation previously. I'm a level 50 player, but just started a few months ago and haven't reached any level 15 Bgs yet. i think I'm at 13 now, and the losses seem very excessive for the payouts, unless I get over 1000 points during the time they are available, then I get some higher numbers and better units; if lower it seems not worth it to even participate in them. I do already know about the keeping units stored in catacombs, and building up the spies in the keep to deter others from spying on you. Most only send less than 10, and with my 25 I win, and they find out nothing; but my real motive is to protect the ones I train over night that I pick up the next day, and put in the catacombs as soon as I log on, first thing. I only have about 125, but am buying more all the time. OnceI get to the higher level you mentioned I'll have lots of questions. Thanks again. Later bro'

Thank you, it means a lot to me. I'm glad it has helped so many and for all the support it has received. This makes me proud and feel responsible to help out more. Very early on i saw the direction the game was headed and knew that all new players need a guide. After working with countless new players and seeing how it helped them i put a huge effort into working with new players and creating a guide and making it available on the forum, This game needs to be understood and broken down on many levels to create a lasting effect on new players and be enjoyable to them. It was all thanks to my own dedication and handful of good players in the game that i've met who helped me out when i started and wanted to learn.

Thank you all. thanks to players like you's giving the guide praise more new player will continue to learn to play and not need anyone to teach them.

I made it straight to the point because of the urgency to teach the new player in my league to hold their own.

Latest update 1/21/17    edited the beginers part added bold text,    next update i'll touch on how to start off the game better going over which quest to do and which ones to ignore, you're ignoring most atk quests, hero equpiment quest, spending saphire quests, and talk about there's qest you never seen before if you didn't follow the quests you shouldn't ignore...  The edit after that i'm going to write more about fortresses with exact #'s and how to raise the level properly,  edit the part on beacons, and hamlet, start talking about how to coin and only do so if you mastered everything in the guide and really feel like you could be doing more and enjoy the game, quick tip only spend real money on saphires if you can raid all week and find new raid targets gaining 15k of each resource without losing many units or none if you can avoid it.

That's great! Thank you for continue your work on this guide, it's really useful! Can you please mark the date when some particular part of guide was updated when editing it? And then leave the comment here :) It would be easier for players to find and read new parts.

New edits 1/27/17

BG extras, hamlets, beacons, fortresses, league structure, out lines, and color coding.

Please comment back any comparison of rewards that differ so I can note and try to track the reason why a diffrent reward was given..

The next edit will be a walkthrough of each quest from the start of the game, which ones to ignore and which ones to follow and why and what each one rewards and how they all come together, please ignore quests you can not do for now and follow the ones you can don't touch anything that a quest doesn't say touch and work on your raiding. i'm going to buff the raiding part of this guide to connect with bg's and quests. You need resources to do quests and train units to do bg's. all of this can be connected to forts, beacons, and hamlets if your league reaches the right #s and your armies grow large enough.

new updates make the BG much clearer.

Just a question, what do you mean with the sentences below?

 30,000- 150,000 off/def do battle ground lvl 8-lvl 12 only.

150,000-250,000 do battle grounds lvl 12- lvl 25

it's a estimate of where you ofense should be by playing smart when starting the game. I already planned on making it much clearer, it takes hours of work editing and there's so much to say to get it right the first time. i suggest you read it over multiple times. and message me in game in the mean time.  x: 860 y: -84

thanks for your feed back puzz.

NEW UPDATE 2/10/17

BG guide summarized simpler. Intro remastered. Added a tip to raiding.

Rough draft writen up in a text document for the walk through. it's going to be around 20-50 lines long and needs hours of work to make it make sense and simple to read. Started it today.it's going to go step by step through each quest and show you all the quests you've been skiping by ignoring quests and upgrading lost arts and buildings on your own. You most likely have never seen the full cycle of quests by straying away from quests upgrading on assumtions only. You played your self and did like the many others who play this game who join with half thought up plans and are never corrected by their leaders who probably didn't know or care to share info in many diffrent instances.  The full cycle is only triggerd from completing all your curent quest. This will spawn later quests in the cycle. New quests are added when you add new buildings or gain all the scrolls for new lost arts. It will come along added at the end of your full cycle of quests. The first new quest that pops up tells you to discove a new lost art. The next one you train a certain amount of a newly discover lost arts unit after discovering it. Part of the cycle repeats 3 times every time before leading you to the end of the cycle. It then loops back around from the begining.  You need to keep track of the full cycle of quests never straying from your main quests. ignore the quests saying spend saphire or attack other players this a tottaly difrent cycle that loops and for guys who have alot of coin and need direction attacking and spending saphires. My cycles really long at level 58 from quests only.

Will add how to spend saphires later.

I'm using some advanced methods to train players in my league from a very reserved aproach of watching, instructing and teaching that I gained from experience. Your best smartest player in your league really needs to be Marshall shot calling and have their hands in everything while seeing the big picture with everyone else feeding them information looking at smaller pictures. #2 and #3 are basicly doing the same thing and wating for direction and orders from #1 while giving #1 feed back, opions on direction and possible direction. Players need to be called out for limited abilities in game like how much do they play each day, how they respond to the #1s orders, how they process information and search for more information. they can then be grouped with other players with same abilities and pushed to step up in the league if they are willing. We all learn diffrently so we need to find out how each of us learns and curent abilities to work together better and gain more abilities faster..
