That choice is longer yours, it has now been made for you.
Your appointment to moderator, the abbuse of power (min of 2-3 posts of mine were deleted today) your views and opinions of KT voiced on these forums have painted a very large target on your castle.
After this latest debacle by plarium (yes appointing you as moderator) has made it clear to me I should be leaving for real this time.

BUT, my castle isnt going anywhere and if I will gladly log in once a day just to raid/siege you :)

"Private" messages are the property of both parties involved.  ie if you send someone a mail they're allowed to share it with whomever they choose because it's theirs too.  It's a good idea to not send anything via in game messages that you wouldn't want being shown to others.

I've lost count of how many times Exxxe deleted my posts which showed an SS or a "private correspondence" (even though at the same time the Chronicles allowed the posting of SS's and "private correspondences").  

Wish those same rules applied to me when I was posting....

The rules do apply, although we must honor privacy in the forums, to some extend we will not allow some PM to be showed. But I have not deleted and will not delete any correspondence between me and DV/KT even if my permission for such correspondence was not asked. 

I try at time to change the content of a screenshot, like the one of Anarchy, rather than delete it. I have not in all my experience banned a member, and I will continue these here. 

I am not the first Moderator and will not be the last to be attacked in these nature after being ''chosen'' to be a Mod. But that doesn't mean that I am a bad person.

I think we have posted enough rebuttals of this for the issue to be dead now.

The outside world considers e-mails to be received without any duty of care for who you then subsequently share them with. The legal precedence is that the sender knows the medium allows for easy and quick sharing, so there is no can be no reasonable expectation of privacy. A quick google will show US legal cases where this precedence was set.

We don't have to follow the outside world here if we don't want to. But the vast majority of the community has voiced that it would like there to be no restrictions to sharing in game mails, as long as they purport to the game. What everyone is completely agreed on is that mails that are about people's private lives, whether it be intimate details of their lives or simply real life data, like addresses are wholly unacceptable to share.

Part of this game is intrigue and politics. Some people play the game as trustworthy people, some scheme. But if you aren't allow to share evidence of the latter how will there be any balance to the game? You can be untrustworthy as you like, with the knowledge that a mod will come along and delete the evidence for you. Above all the points already raised, that scenario is just STUPID.
 

I totally agree with you, and I was in the front line in that regards, fighting moderators to show screenshots, And I have made 1-3 articles discussing the rules that apply in those regards, and have explained what can the rule be applicable to and not be applicable to.

That was a PM between me and Dave, and I respect KT privacy and haven't showed their league chat, and other illicit behavior to the puplic.

That is why i would rather have DV approval to post all PM that involves KT from 3 months till now. So what say you DV, should I show the puplic what goes on in-game, all the stuff, just laid out.

I can honestly say that these is true. But it happened per accused request. and I happened to be in the forum, and asked it to be deleted. The is no need to deny it as no wrong doing was done. 

Request was  made, and it was served. besides the IP registered as Puplic the last time I saw it (Business IP are puplic) and not private, and it must be loaded with a wall of fire walls and such.

There are 1 516 037 users registered on the forum. should there be atleast 12 000 votes of no confidence by today 16:00 ICT +2 I will gladly step down, maybe. 

These threat is in violation of the forum rules, and I have requested it not to be closed by other moderators. I will personally close it at 16:00 UCT +2. The only reason I allowed it to run for as long ist have is because of the motion of no confidence. Which i viewed as revolutionary and a right step in the right direction. 

But as it is, its useless. My thread against Massacre event captured so many likes, even after I let people know that the request was denied( 2 hrs before enacting the thread. These thread is evidence to how unliked, and untrusted you are by members of the KT. You ordered them to slay me. only one has done so( Stewart). 

You ordered them to vote in chat. of the 151 -1 available you received only 25 votes, after 4 days evidence that only 2-5 KT members have voted. If I was you I will review my roles as a captain, right now. because is very likely that your orders in the future will not be observed. Maybe join my league, I will teach you a thing or too about Ubuntu, the principles of Gandhi, Martin and Mandela, plus  make you a neophyte for 3 hrs, then kick you out. 

and a little advice, stop excusing your blunt heavy words on being Dutch, Its an insult to Dutch people and those who admire their culture.

Do you think that post should be made by a moderator? Someone already told you if you want to interact with other forumites in such manner you shoudnt be a moderator. FYI 26th like on Sky's post is mine.

I kinda agree with my old mate Knightmare on this. Oracle could make a good mod. Who knows? We have already seen mods run out of town due to loud, influential voices. I say give him a chance

As for DJ's post, I agree 100%. This is where moderation is really needed:

What I cannot believe is that Biohazard retained his moderator status after posting business IP addresses to further his league/allies BS.
