The regular Battlegrounds collect the so-called "Bank" to increase your payout chance. However, one can hardly predict when exactly the payout is going to be made.

Actually, with the right math you can predict when you will get a payout with a very high degree of accuracy. It's not perfect, but it's certainly better than guesswork.
Papio, i dont know if there are any bg without payouts, i think if u have spent the last payout u got plus an x% and you have reached the amount required for the bg level you want the payout u should be able to get it but its not 100% sure and may be you wont get it, maybe the random component or the secret component.
i hope i will be able to answer you in spanish in a near future..

Legendaries seem to load for the resource value of their saphire cost (a great western dragon costs 2000 saphires, which in the black market buys 50k resources, so that's how much they're worth, which is the same value as 2 dragons, while they have the offense of 12 dragons). Ie you're better off saving them and using normal troops in bgs.

I also have grave concerns over the way BR is calculated - why do they always use the offensive strength of black horde units for all battlegrounds?
This Orc Altar gave 373 BR which implies 3720 strength - http://prntscr.com/7bwzvd
7 Marennon at 80 offense = 560
4 Orcs at 20 offense = 80
17 Raiders at 40 offense = 680
40 Ogres at 60 offense = 2400
Total offense = 3,720
But Orc Altars should be using defensive values, not offensive - This is a bug

You should know better than anyone that all bugs are important, as they can have unexpected effects in other parts of the game. To say that it does not matter is unprofessional. Orcs might not care, but it does affect their strength. They only have 20 attack, but can have 60 defense so it can make a huge difference to the total strength of any offensive battleground... even more so with Marennon's 80 attack but 240 defense. Of course it makes a difference whether they attack or defend.
1. It means that players who hit mostly offensive battlegrounds are not getting enough ranking points - this could have drastic results in weekly rankings.
2. I strongly suspect that the same bug is causing over-population in offensive battlegrounds, resulting in ridiculous numbers of Marennon hiding in even the lowest level battlegrounds. It is no coincidence that defensive battlegrounds are much more predictable.

Legendaries should never die when sent to low level battlegrounds, especially if they have the proper support.
It would be incredibly foolish to deliberately sacrifice Legendaries, which is why I only use them against lower level bg to avoid getting unwanted rewards. With care it is possible to hit level 23 battlegrounds with zero losses... not even one pikeman is wasted. Great for globals and for getting rid of those pesky low levels.
This allows me to sacrifice my cannon-fodder against higher levels to get better rewards.
Sadly, all of this is pretty academic now that they have nerfed BG Tournaments beyond all recognition.

Actually, you have both Sapphires and Soulstones there at the moment. So use them for good, my Lord!
The BG system calculation was not changed anyhow.
This suggestion has been already passed to the developers, my Lord! In case the aspect of Tournaments is changed, you will be notified immediately.

Battlegrounds are actually quite simple, every one has their own preference of clearing them, but in reality all methods work. I stick to lvl 40-59 (60 is highest) for my rewards. I keep an approximation on my troops invested and rewards out (nothing resets, just counts in and out). To win troops with 100% certainty, all you do is send 1 archer to defence, or 10 palidins to offence and get the spread of troops. send a rough approximation of troops that falls 10% short, you type in balours troops killed into a simple balours offence/defence. See what you sent compared to what you killed, and then yellow line it to the dot, east done, 100% successful every time, BGs is a program not random, well the rewards sometimes are haha =P. Offence are harder, anyways pushed down 8M worth of BGs, made a 1M troop winnings (one of my better PVE weekends) have never made a loss ever in BGs. Stick to defence prizes, load up offence BGs, as all resources/clearing count towards prizes. Defence BGs is where you can invest winnings back in for more winnings.
Therefore send the best units to counter balours troops = winnings, simple easy. Just make sure when your defending you look at balours offence, and only offence, and for attacking, only balours defence, so many I have talked to get this wrong!
the goal for BGs is to push down as many as you can, as you will always make a little winning on each one, there may be some BGs you remove knowing full well your making nothing or if anything losing troops, but some of these BGs must be eliminated to get back to your good winnings one.
Troop queue, only build palidins and greatlords (best two troop queue to make by a longshot), never make beast offence, stick to golemns or nectros for the middle queue. always queue up palidins and great lords if you cant run a full queue 24/7.
There's a lot more secrets to success, but I will keep them to myself :)

He hecho todos los campos, llegando a recibir premio de campos 125 en dos ocasiones...Invierto todo, TODO, en los campos de nuevo...y he llegado a hacer 10 campos sin recibir premio alguno. Lo del BANCO DE RECURSOS ES UN TIMO...NO EXISTE...y si existía ha dejado de hacerlo.
Acabo de romper 8 campos consecutivos, en los que he invertido todo el premio anterior, 600 golems del premio de PVP y además...100 €, es decir, 36000 zafiros más toda la tropa que me daba ese paquete de 100€....y NADA, NADA DE NADA.
