Which maze is he trapped in? The easiest is maze 2 but I am happy to send in a force of ballistas to break any walls he encounters and off course my wyverns are standing by to fly him out!

If Lord Oberon start his journey at the center of Section 2, He has to work his way out (right, right, left, right, right, left, right, right, left, left, right, straight, right, left) and follow the Outside Edge of Sections 3, 4 and, 1 (right, right, left, right, right, right, left, right, right, left, right, right, right) Into the lower part of section 2 (right at next exit) whish will lead him to the trees, saved at last.

As far as I can see there are no gaps in the external walls at all. He can walk to the trees but will still be stuck within the maze. So he must fly over, break down or dig under any of the external walls.

Starting at 2, entering into 3rd maze, then walking at last lines of 3 to 4th maze, last lines of 4th to 1st maze and from last lines of 1st maze to last line of 2nd maze which opens space to trees.
