Could not complete action. please try again

The game was working perfect from a hotel. Then I traveled to  a different town and in the hotel I have problem to start the game. When it is reaching 100% the "Could not complete action. Try again later message coming up. I deleted the browser, restarted the computer and got the same message.

Come on...2016 Germany, good wifi connection, what is hapenning?

Which Browser do you use? 

I would suggest you to try on some other browser or clean caches ad history..if nothing helps report it to our Support Team.

I'm using Explorer which was working fine in a different hotel. I cleaned the cache, restarted but I received the same message.

Cleared everything.

Asked in slack (yes we use other than game chat because game chat currently sux) and at least one other person has same issue.

But the players already logged in are not having issues. I recommended them to not log off and try raid enemies because I guess other people might have log in issues as well :)


Oh well.

Just put this complaint of mine in the pile and don't reply "all good archon".

Ok Plarium...locked out of the game 13 hours now, and no reply from support at all. You take my money that I throw at this game, and I get nothing back for service.  The way I understand it is about a 1/4 of the players cannot get into Sparta, or when they do get in, they can't do anything at all, not even chat, because all kinds of error boxes go up.


If I lose troops because of this, Plarium will be replacing them free of charge.  This is on you Plarium. Fix what you broke, and no lame excuses please.

One day and six hours not being able to access my city. Plarium, you are responsible. Own up to it and answer the emails and support tickets and make this right. Fix the issue you caused and make it right for those you affected.

Also experiencing this problem.  First noted the problem when I was dropped from Sparta around 6:30 AM CST.  Could not access the game again.  Can access the two other games, Stormfall and Soldiers, that I play so it is Sparta specific.  Have tried all the recommended fixes and none worked.

I have not been able to log in all night, and it is now 6:30 AM EST USA, and I am getting the same error message and cannot log in . Exactly the same. Someone needs to fix this. No responses to my support requests. I think this will do it for me as far as trying to play this game.

as i stated before when i found the fix and posted it, it appears that Plariums update triiggers something in the latest version of BitDefender that Plarium hadn't counted on.  BitDefender didn't change anything, Plarium changed something int he update.  Glad the fix was able to work for folks. From what I understand, there are a couple of other Anti Virus suites that are also affected. When I find out what those are, I will post them and hope they don't get taken down.

Thanks for your work Blusky, like all IT things it is quite a mystery to figure out lol. I hope Plarium will do the best they can on their side to help correct this issue.

If you're still experiencing loading issues, please do the following:


1) Try to clear your browser cache to make sure that all the game files which are saved by your browser on your computer are replaced with new ones, containing the new game information. 2) Make sure your Flash player is up to date.


3) Try to access the game from another browser or another PC if it's possible.

They will help you to understand the reason of your loading issues and will help you to fix them.


Also please let us know if the issue is resolved.

Disabling the Firewalls and antivirus worked for me as well... The problem is now that I cannot play unless they are completely disabled. I even tried clearing my cache logging out and back in while I had them down. When i put them back up though I once again could not log in. Plarium needs to work on that. I am not comfortable disabling all my computer security in order to play the game.

Same for me. I disabled my firewall and was able to enter. Then I logged back in with the firewall enabled and I was able to enter.
