Only it is not players speaking of the past.  It is still happening so it is current and still important.  Forum staff are still banning forum users because you have personal issues with them.

The issues were not resolved in ANY way. The purpose of a forum is to pass information , ask questions, bring up issues that effect the game.  What is the point of a forum if this is not allowed?

Player Moderators here are company staff paid or otherwise, It is a position you requested.  Moderators are compensated for their efforts - not in money as per say - but with things the rest of us must pay money for.  Do not pretend you are doing this without reward.     Community managers are also a BIG part of the issue.  Are you suggesting they are not paid?

I also belong to many forums and i am a moderator on 2 other games.   NONE of the forums i have ever used have player issues with mods, only here and i believe the issue here is the lack of respect we all recieve from mods. All other servers moderators are helpful and would be canned if they attempted the abuse that happens here again and again.

The customers are not Punching bags for moderator abuse.  They are here to help others and to communicate, suggest game improvements and point out bugs or bad programming, not have moderators lie to them and accuse them of breaking rules that were not broken, ban them for no reason other than they dislike the truth being told, and close topics so things they do not the game community to know about.

Yes - This is a game we all used to love - even if the forums are dead because no one is willing to put up with the abuse that happens here year after year.

Unless i am way off here - all the mods that have not been driven off by the current "team" do not even play the .com server version of the game, were not contributors to the forums of the past, and cause more trouble then they solve.

The people that actually gave advice and tips. that answered questions, and were helpful have all left, resigned as a mod, or were banned and want nothing to do with the sparta servers (if they did not quit the game outright over the abuse)

We lost a lot of soldiers with the last round of forum bans, and the new team of mods seems to like to ban people or issue threats just like the old crew.

This is not right.  I only hope some staff from the company actually read this before it is erased and we are all banned from forums.

The forums used to have thousands of players that came here to share information and learn.

The ask a developer questions topics ran one hour a week and had dozens of pages of questions and answers. The forums were a learning tool before the community manager and the moderators of the time started to abuse everyone.

Sparta as a game has suffered because of their actions.

The new batch of CM and mods seem to be as bad as the old ones.

Why can we not have respectful mods, that actually play the .com server game?

Why can we not have a CM that does their job, logs in, plays the game enough to understand what is being talked about, and handles the current mods?

Sparta has fallen.   It startec long ago and has not improved.

 In general,  when a player continues to do comments on a topic that already has been explained, and to tell stories of what was in the past,  it is the definition of spamming, and this isn't only the Plarium's rules, but it is the rules of every page I'm a member. So, the best that a mod can do, is to close the topics to stop the circle of telling the same things again and again.  Being disrespectful towards the mods and to Plarium's staff doesn't mean that you are right, but it means that you breaking Plarium's rules. Plarium is a company, and as a Company, they do what is the  best for their interests. Mods are players and we don't get paid, but we still are here to assist you. Mods aren't the players' punching bags and Plarium isn't your Enemy. I hope you will spend your energy by applying suggestions about the game we love. I can assure you, that a lot of the game's improvements are taken from the players' suggestions.                                              
   

Now the staff have closed the topics, and it is against the "rules" to ask about these things, or to speak about the wrong doing of the staff towards customers.

They tell us all is ok, and we break no rules, , , ,  but we broke them in the past by doing this very thing. 

Now i understand you have banned more people - the reason is spam to the forum, this is exactly what happened in the past.

Katia - you continue to insult us.

First you tell us that it is not against the rules to share computers, then you tell us that it is ok for us to use the forums after other mods threatened to have our game accounts punished, and give us life time bans.

No rules were broken by any of us.  All of us are very clear on the rules other than the ones forum staff reading rules wrong to punish people that speak their minds in the forums.

1.  the game forced half the players to move to a test server that was not working at all when flash support ended.

2. people complained and demanded to be returned to the working server, or have all players force moved to keep things fair.

3. mods told us to drop the topic as it was going to happen regardless of our wishes

4. mods gave lifetime bans to people that participated in this topic, they accused us of spaming the foums by creating multi accounts and posting, and told us our accounts were in danger of being banned as well

5. support remove the bans on half the effected soldiers/families that share comuters 

6. you tell us it is not against any rules to share computers but now you tell us we knowingly broket the rules or did not read them ?????? and we are at fault ????

Are we going to be banned for this or not ?    You double talk to us and treat us like we are fools.

Banshee, yes, it is why the players don't know why they were banned, or  what rules they broke, because never got interested to give a look to the rules, or just ignored them. The rules are old as the game is , and  they are the same for all Plarium's games' forums or FB community pages 🙂

I don't have any alternative accounts. I've only ever had one. I don't have enough time to log into one account daily so many would not be plausable.

Yes I was banned by the community manager at the time. The reason given was to share a computer, not to have multiple accounts.
