It is pretty much gambling with troops. And the house wins a lot....

When you bank 1012 firewolfs and 506 annihilator tanks and get back 131 firewolfs and 31 equalizer bombers..... And it is NOT a split reward.You know Plarium are forcing your hand to buy diamonds. 


Disgusting. You DO NOT GET BACK WHAT YOU PUT IN.

Spec Ops are the most disliked mechanic of the whole game. Out of our 100 member alliance, everyone avoids them like the plague. It feels like your are playing the pokies when doing them, Because even when following all the advice out there, like have your resources maxed, do not use strategic units because they do not count for RSS, use infrantry for spec ops otherwise get a payout comprised of armour and/or aircraft that does not cover your losses. It still feels like a mechanic designed for 'coiners' who can revive their losses....... 


Literally I am seeing more and more players not even using the Spec Ops mechanic now. It is plain awful and anti-fun. The mechanic has no logic to it. It is not warfare, it is a waste.

If operations are no missions that you can win by using logic where as a larger more powerful army defeats a less powerful one; you might as well replace that with a straight roulette and introduce the Soldiers Inc Casino mode. This way it's clear to all player this is just gambling for a chance to win. You said it yourself, this is a hardcore game, hardcore players expect to influence their fortune by logical behavior. We did install Soldiers Inc, not Casino Inc...

alternatly expand the barracks to allow players the options build a fair amount of troops

As the level of your Operations grows, it takes more time and effort to receive big prize. Rewards increase too. This is why it is important to choose the strategy that fits your playing style.

We know of the time and effort but as dedicated players that know plariums games, we have tried every method 

and the way you have it set up is making it harder and harder for us to compete against, 

nothing is comparing to what we actually put into the banking and what we actually get back once we have discovered after reapers

it seems it all goes down hill

I have a hard time believing this statement.....  since last update my rewards on ops have changed drastically..... all players I know would agree with me.

My troops are rediculously upgraded, my hanger, barracks, depot and hydraulics bay all level 22 which is another %10 on top of their offense and defence. 


I have even had 4 ops missions in a row without any unit drops at all. Solo missions are supposed to be fun and accessible to all. Increase the unit drops. 
I totally agree with u ,the ops hav changed since the last update!!  They are not as before

Hardly any of the playerbase is having any luck. My losses have been significant, that with ten times the offensive and defensive rating, I still take at times +%20 more losses. Which unto itself is asinine and backwards logic. Should be taking less losses. I experimented a bit and did a level 14 offensive spec ops with 3000 marines and 50 equalizer bombers. I took more losses and lost an equalizer bomber. Come on.WTH. The troops they use are weak in stats.

The ops got much harder after the last update...........

Probably why so many people have quit playing. 

Making game frustrating and allot less fun.

I agree with spearhawk...

3 days ago...I carfully sacrificed 400k using the best units for ops and 20% bonus with elite active....

Put over 12 ops in the green. I sacrificed mosly mech and tanks to build up the "bank".

Then i finished off 8 ops in a row... with no rewards.... my rss was maxed, i followed all instructions in these forums.... 

Even following these instuctions carfully i loose power playing ops...

Last night again i sent 400k defense units at defense ops and won air units... but i still lost 300k defense power....  20% bonus, elite active and rss topped off. 

I feel like I'm in a casino and the house always wins... not fun.

I believe it's the final kill the better troop determines the pay plus how much you have banked, as we all know mechs and armor are more exspensive

If i kill op after op and losing units in the process, does it still count as filling the bank? Will i receive the rewards in units as ujual?

What do you mean by this? And what is "yellow bar?" And is fluff a meatshield? So are you saying send a meatshield to save your higher tier troops? 

yellow barring is weakening an Op, just weakening till there is only one bar left

fluff is troops that cost less as in Light Infantry units and Mechs that can help build up the banking 


I save anything that's Combat Aviations if i get it in an op hit, other than that, i hit the op's and fill it back with the fluff or as you call it meatshields.. 

How can you yellow bar in a special operation though? You send troops and then the battle is over. You don't get two chances.

What do you mean by this? And what is "yellow bar?" And is fluff a meatshield? So are you saying send a meatshield to save your higher tier troops?
