Consider these,there is no requirement to respond.

When there was no Fury,there was no need to worry as you do now.

With once a month  Fury, what you just spent would have lasted for 4 months.

In how many of the Fury did you get one of the top two places?

Was your expenditure worth it?

In Fury two kingdoms that spent are always going to get no speed  bonuses ,nor the fast tiles, to which you still have to gain access, i.e.  multi re-locations, to yield from them, and domain guards in a warring kingdom.

 As in any event  e.g. the Kingdom Battle  event that is ongoing, if no player spent any money during this event,or used any existing purchases. 

One kingdom would still be victorious,all that would change is the numbers would be smaller .

Apart from the awe factor,there is actually no need for the numbers to be so inflated.

I do participate in most, if not all of the events,though probably nowhere near as intensively as you do.

Similarly with your other comments , there is no compulsion to participate , just inducements to do so.

I take your point that for you just farming and killing invaders is boring.
