As noted above, 2x 500 Anne candle packs have been spotted in the new Special tab of the Bank window.

Not commenting on the pack, good, bad, or otherwise (I don't know), merely that this is the first time I've seen Anne candles on offer.

[2 x 250 Lilian is also available at the moment, but that's not unheard of.]

It has not been around long enough to get a solid feel for yet, but the new Bank 'window' is intriguing. Gold (4th tab) has been moved from the bottom of Packages, the original 'version' of the window is now the 2nd tab. New are Special (1) and Subscriptions (3). The discord note above speculates that Plarium may be modifying the (Package's) 9 (10?) week cycle. [Unless, unconfirmed, the cycle length is shortened if your last purchase was greater than US$4.99.]

TIDBIT: It seems that when you see the same offer at both US$4.99 and US$19.99, that is your signal that you have hit offers as good as they're going to get. i.e. For 4 x the price the more expensive offers contain the most greater than 4 x contents. (Including the contents of any sale. i.e. If you are at the max, the sale contents will also be - if you just bought, the sale contents will be at their least. Inbetween is ... inbetween.)

I appreciate y'all posting screen shots of your bank offers.  I'm at the point where I need 200,000 plus platinum and 20000 hero crystals to make the next jumps.

The signal seems to be when the candle offers go from ~22 to > 150. Particularly when you see the offers duplicated between $4.99 and $19.99 versions. The $19.99 versions are much better deals - and only appear that one day. (And sales / specials.)

The best I've seen with that is 2 x 250k Platinum, and (different offer) 20k crystals. [Which only gets you part way from 63 -> 64, where you need 30k crystals. (The first 20k will get you to 63 {'useless'}, then you need 2 more sets of 20k to get over that hump.)

63 gets you to March Headcount I, with not enough to fill Siege or Knight.

Nah, nothing 'mega' about them - just the normal offer escalation over time.

Everyone will experience the same escalation every 9w or so.

Even offer sales seem to follow this time escalation. If you bought recently your sale will be less so than if you haven't purchased recently.

 , and that mega / super is only seen after 12 - 14 weeks.

He also notes, somewhere that I can't find at the moment, that mega/super (still haven't seen anything demonstrating they exist) packs are only seen at prices greater than US19.99.

[*] Use to be pack contents were linear - US9.99 packs had twice the contents as US$4.99, US$19.99 4 x - EXCEPT, each had the same amount of gold, not x time as much. As said above, this seems to have now changed to be greater than linear as pack prices go up.

There seems less point to the cheaper packs over the more expensive ones, now. Even if you buy half as often to spend the same amount, you are getting more in the higher priced packs. Speak up, please, if you observe differently - convoluted to try and keep track of this stuff.

Update / followup ...

It seems that on the day that the 'best gold amounts for contents' appear (cost multiples of $4.99 packs with x the contents but not x the 'gift of gold'), as noted by the sudden availability of inquisitor candle offers of +150 candles [they are <~22 to that point, some 18, some 20, some 22] ...

(It seems that on the day  ...) Corresponding $25.99 offers are present with rather more than x times the $4.99 contents. If you know you're going to need it (stamina, gold, platinum, whatever ...), and would purchase them at the next 4 '9 week' periods, it may be worth your while to purchase these more expensive packs. [Perhaps make sure your last purchase is the least cost one, though.]

Caveat: If this happens on a day where your needed candles, or platinum, isn't on offer, taking advantage of these may not be in your best interest. (Such offers will come around again, and you won't be disadvantaged for not having taken advantage of these offers.) [If you need < 340 Sixtus candles to max him out, and it's not being offered, you probably don't want to wait 18 weeks, instead of 9, to so max him out.)

Summary: If you suddenly see regular offers duplicated at > 4 times contents for $25.99, you have probably hit / crossed a threshold to offers as good as they're going to ever be made available to you. Examine the offers closely, and carefully consider if they make sense for you and you can afford them - such levels will be gone and unavailable to you, tomorrow.

- this does not apply to special sales, e.g. Easter, May Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, New Year's, etc. Those offers occur independently of the above - but the same caveat applies. If the candles you need aren't on offer, don't snooker yourself, as above. Such sales often last at least 3 days - but sometimes only the 1 day. So, if your desired candles will be on offer tomorrow, or the day after, you may well be able to have your cake and eat it too.

Following up to the above, today's offer.

I don't believe these are regular, mega, super, or any such thing packs.

I think these are 'event' packs, corresponding with the game update. So, could happen at any time / aren't part of a time cycle.

However, it does appear that the level of the offer correlates with where you are within the 9w cycle, and certainly purchase resets your cycle.

The top offer would be the newest offer, and perhaps the 3rd of 3 per the other message thread (saying pack sales come in 3's and to wait for the 3rd day to buy all 3 ...)

'Sadly', I bought yesterday, so this offer will not be as good as it would have been if I had not purchased.

If someone did not purchase and still has a 32M gold US$19.99 offer available to them, please post a pic of their Sulfurum pack, as offered to you.

In any case, the offer is 3.1B silver, 90 boosts, 675k VIP, 100 x 3 errands. Not overly impressive, but 3.1B silver feels larger than usual.

Also included are the offers from above, post-purchase yesterday. You should be able to contrast what buying a pack prematurely will cost you. Do you want 150+ candles, or the rss sale and wait 9 more weeks for a 150+ candle offer to come around again?

Seems to be. Essentially.

And ... if you don't buy within, say, 2 weeks (guessing / unconfirmed), prices will double, so will contents, except for 'Gift of Gold' levels which stay as they were. I know / experience this happening - the unconfirmed part is how long until this happens. 2x contents, 1/2 gold.

Problem becomes when sales are on. On a day when your desired Inquisitor isn't. And the sale might not be present tomorrow. (Thus the day 1 of 3 notes and speculations. Perhaps your desired Inquisitor will happen tomorrow. And perhaps the sale will be off ...)

Caveats:

1. You will want Adrian (Build & RSS - raise via Special Errand purchases [as with all Inquisitors] and Citadel Order Store), Sixtus (Study & Training - costs a LOT to unlock and/or train t6, but major event points), {battle}, Vigo (everyone will want scouts to crush incoming Spies - -IF- he's Appointed at the time), and probably Ann (years from now). So if you want {battle} but Vigo is on offer at sale time, take a second look. Else, pass. (Candles are too expensive and come around too seldom at reasonable levels to get gold / rss / silver packs that you will come sufficiently close to during your regular purchase cycle anyways.)
   
   
2. If you don't need many candles, or can wait for events like Grand Inquisition: Vigo's Candles to finish things off and get to the last discipline level, you could buy earlier. Just remember your 9w cycle will reset to 0. Last slot means Adrian -73% building speed, Sixtus -73% study speed, -5% cost, {battle}/Vigo . For 900 candles. If the sale is that good, it could be worth purchasing anyways. [How long will 12.5B rss x 4 last you, given your playing style and how far along in the game you are. Early, forever, later, less than a week.)
   
   
3. Everything goes out the window when certain sales come by - e.g. At Christmas there was a pack containing 500 candles each of 2 different Inquisitors. Especially if you manage to buy it twice - taking you 2/3 of the rest of the way to maxing out an Inquisitor in one shot.
