Top leagues value the ability to recycle an army quiclkly, like spending. Especially in server one. The more you can spend, the more you can PvP. 

I know many players with huge raids scores, and they are not playing in top leagues. Why?

You have far better chance of getting your needed hero equipment at chests, especially if you are lower level. The brawl and the Tower provide many opportunities for chests, you just need to open them at the right time. You really don't need BG's early on. But one day you will need to impress your league leadership for that promotion, that is when leveling your BG to lower 130 helps. 

And another thing you undermined is the number of sapphires you can win at tournaments by staying low level. Just gaining 60 points earn you 600-1200 sapphires in some tournaments. You can use those to buy hero equipment, and other accessories, like paragon activators.

I'd say you want to get your bgs at least into the 60s, because at level 61 is where you start getting the class 4 hero equipment which boosts the power of your bestiary units.  Without this you're giving up a large potential bonus for your units (up to 70% on fully upgraded purple gear, but easily 20-30% for low level gear).  

its not just this or unit ranks..i could think of many more reasons.im sure so would u too

talking about horrible ideas,

and yet providing a personal viewpoint towards game as a strategy.. not saying its wrong or bad

Some terrible advice you will receive as a newbie will be to level up your castle to level 80 as soon as possible. Don't do it. If possible. Do nothing but upgrade your building to level 20 for the whole year. Don't play BG, stay under level 40. and grow your army. 

Once you reach level 80, you must have already unlocked your StoneHeart, have level 10 Paragon and have at least 50 million defense and offense in Beast.  Its easy to level your castle, but do it in the right time.

Another terrible advice will be someone telling you to play the Highest BG as soon as possible. Nothing magical happens at level 210 BG. Once you reach level 80, try to stay below level 130 BG, If you don't want to be competitive in BG, then level 40 is great.

Given that this is an MMORPG game and not an RPG game, levelling up and gaining a huge amount of experience over a short period of time is not the same as growing and developing your castle. 

In an RPG game, levelling up your avatar and gaining a huge amount of will give a huge advantage. But in this game, gaining experience doesn't give you any significant advantage. 

The only advantage it gives you is that some leagues out there value players that do that. If you are leveling 80, with a battleground ranking of over 400 million, most leagues' top leagues are likely to take you. I don't know why? 

However I will rather have a level 60, with 400 million raid score, and 150 days training que of chimera and Purgators.

Yeah good advice.

Its not great for your ego but you need to realise when you start this game you are a small fish and need to keep out of trouble while you grow.

Using up your resource quickly and packing your troops away regularly is by far the best way to keep out of trouble. People soon get bored with you if they don't get any resource from raiding you and get nothing but low PvP point spirit wardens killing their troops for little return.
