Im sure a mod should know that as it is a built in tool in the game.

Im not sure if you class this as an overwhelm as i lost a few troops, I have edited any info which could be embarrassing for my apponant as it was 1 of those times where you have a brain fart and mess it up, among months of smart fighting.

I haven't closed any threads. I only closed thread which I was asked to close by the person who started those threads/the threads is about.  

I don't know why I would research, and place an article here saying the practice of alts is a manifestation of a disease while I have an alts. I don't know why I would have an alts while I tell people here everyday not do have alts. All my friends know I hate alts, and will report them, for using alts. Why would I have an alt ?

He called me out on something that I didn't say, only to prove what I said, after the facts where laid down he didn't apologize. The apparent calling out was just to use me, then an Ex-member of UE to fight UE. DJ is a respectful member of the forum, and I have nominated him to became a moderator before applying myself. We have disagreement, and we debate at times, and will continue to do so.

IF Plarium is honest.. this forum is not very active... yet the threads that are most active... are closed down because of "flaming" or "criticism".

There was 26 votes of no confidence for Oracle as moderator. My guess is that at most 200 people look at the forum on a regular basis and actually post something. that means that over 10% of the active forum community casted a vote of no confidence for him.  And as we all know, the active forum community rarely agrees on anything. so 26 people agreeing on anything is almost unheard of.

Oracle is a forum troll. pure and simple. He has little to no knowledge of the game, and commands zero respect from the players of Stormfall.

In 2 years and a half years of playing the game in server one.. he has only managed to get to level 77 and he commands a powerful league made up of himself and 14 alts.

You either picked an alt as a moderator or you picked a player who has no idea what he is doing. Either way.. keep it up and the forum will start to look like Atlantis... sinking farther and farther.

can we also bring up the fact that Oracle admitted on numerous occasions to having alts in other leagues?

we have someone who cant follow the rules in game in charge of maintaining the rules on the forum. how does that make sense?

10% vote of no confidence? So the loudest 10% seem to have their knickers in a knot, whereas the majority are indifferent.

I hear all these referrals to Oracle being a troll, but in my experience he has simply responded to maybe the biggest troll in the forums, often in a humorous manner. Obviously this winds the trolls up even further, and we have seen the main Forum (Leagues) descend into chaos over the past couple of days. Same load voices as usual.

I refer those to a fairly recent post by Oracle that I thought was one of the best threads I had seen for some time. You call this a troll? I call it a valued contributor to otherwise inaccessible forums

That is no excuse at all. weather pikes have a good defense against infantry or not is off topic. DV is defending with offense, and that should worry a moderator like me. 

What if  I have used Beast, How where you going to defend that utter act of noobishinesm. Its a good thing that you are educating DV, maybe you can persue him to take my challenge, I have paypal account ready for him to use to buy 2K sapphires.

Lord Marcel Stokvis Since you have obstructed communication with me, the isn't any possible way of doing these but in the forum. I have given you the maximum amount of time to remedy the situation, but you have refused to listen.

I am giving you a 24 hrs ban, for violation of rule 3.4

''3.14. Obstruct communication with moderators. This includes blocking private messages from any moderator.''

You can however remedy the situation by sending me a PM, and unblocking me In which case I will lift the ban, or another Moderator will.

These rule was put in place to make sure that, any form of communication between moderators, Administrators and Community Managers are carried out  in private, and doesn't breach the Privacy of the parties involved, Obstructing these privacy is in breach of your agreement the initial agreement you have agreed to. Lack of privacy between also  limit the reliability and integrity of computer-based information, and other aspects of information shared, and communicated between moderators and you. It also make  data encryption on the part of Plarium almost impossible, thus breaching your Rights to Privacy. 

The ban will be in effect from 12 Hrs UCT, Monday to 12 hrs UCT Tuesday and will be extended should the situation remain the same on Wednesday UCT 12 hrs to a year Ban.

All I see is the same names over and over again. Do not forget every one of us was a nOOb at one time. What he was before he became a Moderator, I do not know. Should this actually be a rule... the rules need to be updated to make it extremely clear that is the case.. however.. I feel it is more of a taking the rules FAR past their intention and actually infringing upon the rights of the players to post information.

Ingame location is common knowledge and not personal at all.

Sorry Sky, Brunson has spoken and laid down the law - you must now bow down to his new rules (that isn't actually anywhere in the forum rulebook) which seems to be applied at random, against the former policy that stood for nearly 3 years.  Brunson has uttered this new standard and it has been set forth against everything that was allowed previously.

Is true there isn't a rule that governs that. Its a golden rule that arises from the act pf people reporting someone of being an alt without proper evidence. These then drives the community to harass the player involved, in-game and in the forum. Since such act can also lead to player being targeted for attacks, Which leads to bullying,  screenshot must be edited to exclude all form of in game locations. 

Location of Beacons, Hamlets and Settlements are the exception. But fortress location and players location are removed. Fortress location if you remember were first removed when location of Emperors fort was posted ( the first  level 20 fort). The policy is that such screenshot or pictures are to be removed without notification. But I prefer to edit the screenshot and remove the in-game locations( like I did with Anarchy members screenshot).

Discussing forum moderators decision is against forum rules. You can only discuss those actions with the support team. Players are not normally banned for those actions, but given a warning, or the thread is closed, and later deleted, but it will depend with the crime. Personally I think most players just want to make moderators look bad, something I don't understand.
