I am leading, so that is an L.  

Note though, that I wouldn't stay for 2 days in a canyon with heavy rains. By definition, a canyon is a deep ravine between pairs of cliffs and is most often carved by the erosive activity of a river. Camping out in one is a good way to get your army either killed by flash floods, or at the least bogged down in mud.

A storm is falling (reference to the weather) = the word "Stormfall".

From "East" to "West" (i.e. one end to the other) of the word is the letter "M".

It is the "m"iddle of fall. Another reference to the letter "M" !
