yes prime guardian ,almost perfect :)
1.a political attack should have one of those effects ,one assasin to waken defensive with 5% ,maximum 10 means a 50% weakening
2.city the same
3.perfect ,but 5 min/assasin ,not 30
4.perfect - 1000 res/assasin each
5.perfect
6.perfect
7. if chosen assasins are sent to kill only defensing assasins ,or weaken assasin deff by 5% each
8. a spy mission that always suceeds and tells the no of defensive assasins
9. a sucessfull assasin attack means you have more offsensive assasins then defensive ones (defensive ones must be out in order to defend not in the acro
if not ,the assasin attack is unsucessfull
each one of this 8 types of attacks must be researched in academy like the 3-rd colony - 30 lvls to activate
This is what i understand strategy means ,Plarium guys ,strategic oportunities implementation ,now the game has become only a race for builing troops and killing each other with a aprox 1:1 loss ration without any possibility to invest res int on somethign that changes that ,so it's a dull and boring way to do the same thing over and over again until you get bored and quit
so in my opinion ,plarium ,this game needs to change ,and to change fast.
and by that i don't mean new flying units or units bought by gp''s or other stuff liek that ,that really does not change anything same thing all over stronger units or weaker units just for the fun of having a lot of units same thing jsut different stats so really you can make 100 new units the game does not get anymore interesting because it's the same thing all over again you lose 100k deff for 100k off even if it's 1 unit having 100k off and 1000 units with 100 deff so it does not matter what matter is having units with soem special abilities that can turn the balance by using them wisely.
that's what every strategy game has to offers and this game only offers endless and senseless a** kicking ,where only numbers count without any kind of strategical posibilities
This game is now virtually useless in terms of being a strategic 'war game'. The creation of political attacks was pure greed from Plarium and is now a cash cow they will not eliminate. Harsh truth? here is a page from my Battle Reports, please explain to me how this is good for the game? Several times experienced players have suggested fixes: the creation of an opposing unit type; reduction of effectiveness; removal of any pvp for attacker. Yet Plarium continue to ignore us. Plarium, you are killing the game slowly while filling your pockets with coward's money. Here is a comment from a low level who has been targeting my city purely with political attacks.

An obvious coiner hiding behind a crappy account. My issue with the PA is that the target does not benefit during PvP events which oddly enough are a never ending cycle these days.
Perhaps a limit of one PA per city per day from one user and the defender gets compensated PvP for troops lost?

Political units were implemented into the game after thorough investigation, Archon. We wanted to make sure that this unit doesn't change the whole meaning of the game and its balance. And I assure you that we wouldn't add it to the game if we wasn't sure about this. Remember that all players have the limit for using Political units. The units are not as powerful as a good army. When your army can win a battle and return home, Political units have only one possible attack.
Players always attack each other in a military game, it is not possible to avoid such interactions. But you can always have a revenge

Political Attacks suck for 1 big reason. They don't seem to kill coalition troops sent as reinforcement. So basically that a very big flaw
They do.
But combats are still resolved comparing offense value vs defense value. Fortifications are still very important. In the end, piling up lots of defense in a heavily fortified city, especially from several people so damage is scattered and losses are rounded down to zero, is the best defense from political units.
I realise that this thread is now getting a bit tired ... but just thought to add my 2 cents worth about PA's and how I wish they were not part of the game or at least not in their current implementation. There were a lot of sound ideas put forward earlier in this thread but I tend to agree that for Plarium these PA units are just steadily raking in the money from the coiners and this out-weighs other considerations. The post earlier in this thread from Aleksandra Miroshyna - which defends the whole PA process - just made me smile and frankly is an insult to my intelligence.
I used to be an 'occasional' coiner spending perhaps $100-$150 per month. I have not spent any real money now for a couple of months as more and more nonsense is introduced (50% off/def boost; bubbles over your city for spy and/or full protection etc). For me, the net effect of all these changes is I find I am now much less interested in the game and I guess on a glide path to quitting.
