So even though I can get the game to work as long as my firewalls are down. If I try to put my firewalls back up I still get errors when I try to log in. So if Plarium could do something about that it would be nice. I would rather not be running my computer with all my firewalls and antivirus disabled.

Solution:
Disabling the Anti Virus is not enough! You need to UNINSTALL IT, REBOOT, CLEAR BROWSER CASH, then it will work! Now, we have ALL wasted far to much time here with Plarium's BS and I have lost coalition members, protectorates, & champion lead forces over this! I expect reimbursement for myself, my affected members AND ALL community members!

Again...for those of you b!tching but not reading. The problem is your Anti Virus software. Plarium's new patch does not play well with it. For me it was Bitdefender. You need to UNINSTALL IT, REBOOT, CLEAR BROWSER CASH, then it will work! Turning it off is NOT ENOUGH. Now, we have ALL wasted far to much time here with Plarium's BS and I have lost coalition members, protectorates, & champion lead forces over this! I expect reimbursement for myself, my affected members AND ALL community members! SHAME ON YOU PLARIUM! }:(((

It is not safe to be online without an active antiviral program running. I will drop the game rather than play without active antiviral protection! Their other games work fine so the real problem is in the update, not the antiviral programs.

I would never dream of surfing or playing with my antivirus disabled to allow me to access a specific game or site.
It is up to Plarium to fix their code, not us to modify our configurations.

I have Bitdefender as well, I tried everything you just said and I completely cleared everything not just the cache but unfortunately it did not work for me. I'm glad it worked for you.. I still can't log in unless I have everything disable.

Also using BitDefender and have tried the suggested fix. I still can not access Sparta. Soldiers and Stormfall are working fine so I am just playing them until this is sorted out.

It's still not working.

I do not want to turn off the antivirus.
I think, Plarium it should solve the poblemat.

Member THROGOD got a reply from support and this is what they said.
This is the Answer i got from Support
Hello! This is Oleg with Plarium Support. Thank you for contacting us.
After an in-depth investigation of the issue we have discovered that it is caused by the antivirus (BitDefender). It simply blocks our website, namely Sparta: War Of Empires.
The issue might be resolved by switching off the antivirus. If it does not help, please try uninstalling it from your computer.
Please inform me about the outcome.

So Oleg you are suggesting to customers like me that we should leave ourselves vulnerable to hackers to play the game instead of dealing with Bitdefender and Plariums compatibility problems this is ridiculous
