Update 4.00 Highlight

Hey, everyone!

Update 4.00 nears release, and it will pave the way for one of the biggest features of the past few months - Clan vs Clan Tournament. Please note that Clan vs Clan Tournaments will not be available immediately on release! We are going to run a series of tests to ensure server stability before CvC Tournaments launch sometime in April.

If you caught our latest What’s Next in Raid video, you already know how the CvC Tournament is going to work. But we’ve prepared a brief description below for those of you who haven’t seen it!

Clan vs Clan Tournament Basics

In essence, CvC Tournament is a special type of Tournament where different Clans compete. Each Tournament will be preceded by an in-game announcement 24 hours in advance, so Clans will have time to prepare. Tapping on the CvC icon will bring up a tab that shows whether your Clan is eligible to take part or not, along with the requirements that need to be fulfilled to become eligible.

Matchmaking will be based on the Global Rankings for the first launch, but after that Clans will be paired against one another according to how well they performed in previous CvC Tournaments.

There will be a list of activities, each awarding Clan Points whenever a Clan member performs them (while the CvC Tournament is active). Some of these activities might receive temporary boosts, meaning they yield more Clan Points - be sure to check them out in the Objectives or Versus tabs to maximize your yield! It’s going to take teamwork to win, so don’t forget to coordinate with your clanmates as well.

Whichever Clan has the most points at the end of the CvC Tournament wins. If somehow Clans are perfectly tied, there is no winner.

Clan vs Clan Tournament Rewards

Participating in the Clan vs Clan Tournament yields rewards for everyone in the Clan (provided they contributed - you’ll need to reach a set minimum of Points to be eligible). First, there are the Milestone Rewards - a series of Milestones that are based on the Tier in which your Clan performs and require a set number of Clan Points to achieve. Once the Clan reaches one of these Milestones, each member can claim the associated rewards from the Milestone Rewards tab.

Additionally, the Versus tab contains a progress bar that shows the current status of CvC competition. The more points you beat the other Clan by, the better rewards you’ll get; once again, this applies to everyone in the Clan.

Finally, winning the Tournament awards your Clan with a CvC Trophy. You get as one per victory, and they will always be displayed next to your Clan’s name - a perfect way to show unity and strength.

New Accessories

New Accessory Sets will be available as part of Clan vs Clan rewards. These are as follows:

Bloodshield

Gives wearer Shield worth 5% of damage dealt after attacking (per Accessory), AoE damage gives 75% less Shield value

Reaction

25% chance to change critical hit into normal when attacked before first turn (per Accessory)

The effects these Sets provide are cumulative. Meaning Bloodshield can provide 5-15% shield of Damage dealt per attack, and Reaction can increase the chances of resisting a critical hit between 25 and 75%.

Miscellaneous

  • We’ll fix the way different Shield buffs interact in 4.00: 
  1. If a Champion has an active [Shield] with the duration of 1 Turn and receives another [Shield] buff with a higher duration, the new buff will take precedence and apply no matter the Shield Value
  2. If the choice will be between two [Shield] buffs and their duration equals 1 Turn, then the buff with the higher Shield Value will be applied 
  3. Except in the case when a Champion has an active [Shield] buff lasting 1 Turn and by some effect applies a new [Shield] with the same duration during their Turn - then the new buff will apply so that the Champion does not end up losing their [Shield] after their Turn is over
  • Clan Activity for the past 7 days will become available in the Rankings tab of the Clan Menu and will be visualized by the number of stars Clan members earned
  • Clan Boss Rewards preview will be fixed to show all items properly

Legendary dupes, silver price to unequip artifacts, and skill book farming is what I wish to hear about, going forward. Today marks my 270th day and   have surely spent 5k usd easy. I have now ceased ALL spending until these very prominent issue are more than just vaguely spoken of, if that. Why should I pay to move gear I have paid to be able to farm and to level up with an artifact leveling system that is flat out demoralizing and  makes me muse leaving the game on its own. I own business and charging customers twice is the quickest way to loose business. Dupes=6? books ●

Interested in what you've come up with. However, can you please fix arena. You had a fix for it and then you broke it again. Can you please change it back?

Would also love more ways to farm silver or skill books. But, please, arena first.

😂Guess I gotta change my 2⭐ review back to a 1⭐.. ffs..

  • Please, REMOVE provoke from Scarab King, at the very least; He has enough abilities.. (Making a boss more difficult does not mean giving them every ability, while making them immune to everything.) His positions in the normal doom tower make it seem like he's meant to be a "paywall". Needing destroy gear is enough.
  • Add dungeon levels for better chances at superior potions. It's bad enough books are hard to come by.
  • Fix the current arenas. Tag arena is in the state classic arena was once in; and now classic arena is regressing to the state it once was in.
  • LOWER the cost to change gear, at the very least. This should help improve arena, as "cheesy" team metas can be countered quicker. This also means brand new gear sets dont need to constantly be introduced. This could improve the game overall. Maybe even make the joke that is the Scarab King more bearable.
  • Tournaments are COMPLETELY PAY 2 WIN. Events are WAY TOO DEMANDING. I've saved shards for months and can't even get through a summon event or tourney. There's pretty much no point to participate.
  • MORE QoL fixes & updates!!!

Changing gear should not cost silver.

Refresh Arena should not cost 5 gems

Add more missions if you have to but make them easier. current set of missions 286 divided into 4 groups. you can easily have 486 missions divided in 7 groups if you want

Are you going to add faction wars for each new faction ?

please also do something about silver....even if you pay for game Farming silver is to consuming, at least remove it from gear swaping or vastly lower it. 

Its the number one issue i have with the game, i can't experiment with the gear because it cost to much. I can't focus on 100 available activities (arena, doom tower, factions etc) because swaping gear strips all of my gold. I spend about 80% of the energy just to farm a bit of gold.

Also daily rewards and quests are a joke, 5k silver, 100k for 500 campaign battles, seriously? It dosen't scale at all with the game.

Fix  Arena  OR  remove  arena  reach  silver  from  The  content  the  mission

For  God  sake  I am  At  85  on  the  Arbiter  mission  unable  to  move  over  the  reach  silver  mission  for  the  last  3  week.   

I  am  personally not  investing a  dime  in  this  game  anymore.

When will be realsed another faction from hidden onces and are you planning to add more champions for Shadow faction to open their own Faction War mission?

Will be there any more features added?

And what about old accessories, they will begin useless more and more or will you do some advantagerous changes?

Hi, guys! We receive quite a few messages about the difficulties that you experience in the Classic Arena. 

I would like to notice that there is no single best team or a general solution to excel in the Arena. One of the main challenges there is to find the best possible tactics specific to your account and for the list of Champions that you already have. That's why, if you're in doubt about future progress in the Arena, I encourage you to ask for a piece of advice, that would be specific to your account in a distinct Forum thread. Overall, the correct timing for Champions' abilities, the synergy between them, and the gear that you use are what determines the success. 

I should add that there is a lot of information about the development of Champions for the Arena on Youtube provided by our content-creators. Also, please visit our official Discord server (channels #champion-discussion and #arena-advice might of special interest for you): https://discord.gg/dQGrfW7G There you may find a lot of experienced players ready and willing to help with your issues.

Thank you for your feedback! Please, be assured that we communicate your concerns about progressing through Arena missions to developer teams. Our analytics keep collecting data about the performance of different Leagues and players on those Leagues and we constantly search for new ways of balancing this game experience.

Without any cost for changing equipment, it would be way too easy to tune your team against a particular opponent in the Arena or other areas. This system promotes the mindful and careful development process of your characters, which is one of the core game experiences for an RPG. On the other hand, it allows for some flexibility in case if you've made some mistake and would like to revert it. Silver is relatively easy to farm and we keep adding it as rewards to all kinds of activities. 

We're glad to see such a plethora of meaningful and thoughtful suggestions in this thread! Unfortunately, we cannot promise their implementation because of the need to calculate their impact on the gameplay balance of different in-game systems and experiences, like Dungeons, Doom Tower, Clan Boss, etc. Needless to say that change or elimination of a particular game mechanic requires extensive testing.

I'm afraid that the game was not designed to be played with a PlayStation 4 controller so we cannot guarantee you whether it is possible with the MacOS you've mentioned and we cannot promise convenient game experience while the controller.

None of these changes matter if Plarium doesn't update the classic arena. 

You MUST remove the inactive accounts from the arena as a first step.

No one wants Clan vs Clan is this manner either. 

We want maps where we can fight other Clans champs not compete in individual events to see who has the most points. You've missed the mark even before it's released. 

How can you be so obtuse all the time?

Really ? 

First: Remove a developed artifact need cost in your game not just an artifact change. Their armor set nailed to body or what ?  Maybe those artifact cursed and need spell cost to remove ? What a RPG element :D

Second: At least just make a second fitting panel (wardrobe) for heroes to second set and wont lose the costs of artifact changes. Plus this change should be fix the inventory slots problem, because more artifacts and accessories using per heroes.
