This arena situation has styed an otherwise great game. How can you keep this up when the Great Halls has EVERYTHING to do with progression to the end game? i actually hate completing the arena amongst the daily game objectives. To continue this is a injustice to all those that truly enjoy this game.
Found this on Ayumilove. If it is true, the actual Brogni Event is just for the old players here... All others are trapped and just spend money. 78 Area refiills + the time waiting for one or two wins... 😃
Total Battles: 5 Days x 35 Arena Battle per day = 175 Arena Battles
(1) Bronze I~II, Silver I~II: 950 Wins, 950-175=775, Require extra 78 Arena Refills
(2) Bronze III~IV, Silver III: 475 Wins, 475-175=300, Require extra 30 Arena Refills
(3) Silver IV, Gold III: 317 Wins, 317-175=142, Require extra 15 Arena Refills
(4) Gold IV: 238 Wins, 238-175=63, Require extra 7 Arena Refills
(5) Platinum: 190 Wins, 190-175=15, Require extra 2 Arena Refills
Sorry, I couldn´t resist! And with a 😂 in my face I have another opinion: Looking at the numbers its not challenging its impossible and the only winner here is Plarium.
However, I´m with 3 months pretty new in the game and I have to admit it still triggers me a lot and there are other parts in the game keeping me playing.
But this isn´t only complaining, in my eyes this is unbalanced gameplay and just a money sink for especially newer gamers who try succeed in this part...
....and my last 5 cents to this matter
Hi! I confirm that we keep collecting your feedback, guys! Arena is indeed en extremely challenging part of the game (if not the most challenging). However, now our GD-team ponders about some ways to make it a little bit easier in Bronze and Silver, so you might farm medals more steadily
It's not a matter of making it easier or harder, and more one of making the difficulty consistent. You can't hope to balance anything if the conditions keep changing on their own. You have a system that is important to progression but with no progression guaranteed. There are two major issues that prevent that.
One is player power inflation, by which I mean actual power not the arbitrary metric the game uses, which means the arena will get harder as the game ages. That the game has a functional, or at least a healthy, competitive aspect is a pipe dream in a game that is not skill-based (I can already hear the objections to that statement; sorry, you're just wrong if you think it is).
The other is the matchmaking, which is absurd. I should not be able to climb an entire arena tier just by removing equipment from 3 champions, but that's exactly what I did and exactly what happened (I want to get those 455 points for fragments). A player should under no circumstances be punished for playing the game, that's just horrible design, made more so by the fact that the game won't even tell you that is the case. As if that wasn't enough, it obfuscates the problems by hiding the symptoms without actually fixing anything. It was mentioned elsewhere that people get into silver in their first few weeks. I was one of those people. That's not a reason to pat yourself on the back for a job well done, it's not a good thing. Or, to be more accurate, the reason why people can do it is not a good thing. If you're monitoring the arena and collecting statistics as has been claimed, I can't help but wonder how much that data is actually useful when the system is rigged to begin with.

That refers to an event in 2019 and has nothing to do with the current event - which requires 455 points and far more points are awarded per win.
In gold IV, I've reached the 455 points in less than two days without buying any additional arena refills. Obviously for lower tier players it's still much harder than that, but nothing like those numbers.
While I lean towards the argument that the match making system in bronze and silver may be inconsistent and detrimental to a lot of new players (and even some old), the team power to me isn't all that important. My team is all rares in the 80k power rating range and depending on how much I play arena, I will fluctuate between brone IV and silver II. I'll face teams that are lower than my team power and sometimes not quite double it. I can beat a 140k+ team as easily as an 80k team and lose just as easily to a single champ 25k team. Team power doesn't mean much. It is speed for the most part, team synergy and picking your opponents. Again the match making system needs overhaul but I don't believe that players can't win against higher powered teams, I think they aren't even trying and are scared off by the opponents team power rating.
The bottom 4 battles were all in the past couple of days in S1. All the teams except the last were way above my team power. The first 3 were all slow with poor synergy or with champs being incorrectly used. The last team killed me and was on the ball. One Skullcrown with Avenging gear. Every time I hit her with a crit hit she retaliated. Should I complaint about this low power team beating me or respect that player for being good at the game?
