Actually, just checked this; 
I had "0" points, went on ice golem and got a 5 stars blue defense gloves

=> Still "0" points...

I have the same problem as others.

Farmed Campaigns, Ice Golem, Dragon etc... no points...

Same. I have 4 of 15 and no matter where I try to farm them no more points accrue.
