I'll have to try Sp 20 with Solo Gnut. Been uisng Solo Sulfuryion for a long time. The Fiery Lizard is pretty quick, but not 1-turn-quick.
1 turn is very nice for events.

Unless you use him in Chimera, you don't need to stack all that CD on Gnut. Both of mine hit the Dmg Cap everywhere with far less CD and no Ignore Defense except Helmsmasher, which they probably don't even get any benefit from.
Gnut 1: 295 SP, 6411 DEF, 191 CD
Gnut 2: 266 SP, 4663 DEF, 288 CD

Gnut 254 SP, 4799 DEF, 296 CD and he gets a lot of follow up attacks.
Does this make me End Game yet? lol
