Normally, I agree with that 100%; however, it's resource management and return on investment.
I intend to do the Leo Event for Leo & the 5*, assuming both are available in his eventual event, so pulling some primals now, when they get a 50% bonus, protects resources to throw at the Leo Event later.
Rephrase: if you run low on resources during the Leo event, would you be willing to pull Primals to finsih it? If yes, then maybe pull a few now.
Totally agree that haivng Leo at the very end gives more time for more peeps to hoard the needed resources....
Most of the frustration (and even a fair bit of the TMNT fatigue) is due to setting an expectation with the calendar leak, and then following that up with denials, official clarifications that actually said nothing, and as little real information as possible until the last minute, i.e., typical Plarium communications.
However, the real irony here is that as ticked off as people are about it, the combination of the initial calendar leak and the subsequent calendar stretch will allow more people to get Leo than would have been possible on the original schedule...possibly a lot more people.
Thats my take on it as well. Its so weird though, people are having like FOMO on something that hasn't happened yet.
My take on Raph soul was that Leo seems to be so strong, he needs the soul less than Raph. And if the event ends up being 120 voids or another soul event, whatever, that I don't leave Raph underpowered by leaving it on the table. Turns out, he's now my strongest dps. Go figure.

I've got 15k points already and 51 sacreds, 62 primals, 229 ancients.
Will smash spider and event dungeon starting tomorrow after finishing gear ascension today.
Probably a few greens to pop for some training fodder also.
So probably able to resist that primal urge :)
It must be a path for Leo coming up, because with less than two weeks left, and a CvC to avoid, there's not enough time left - reasonably - to do a Leo and soul as separate events. C'mon mixed shard event!

Saw a CC predict that it will be 11/7-11/10, which would mean the original leaked dates were correct except for a typo on the month. It that is really correct, what a shit-show they made of it.

Several account altering moments that stand out. 1. Starting almost immediately with a mythic swiss army knife. 2. Alice and Mithrala, respectively. 3. TMNT.
For all I've bitched about the way this has rolled out, it's given me my best all-around healer in Donnie, my best damage dealer in Raph, and best tactical debuffer in Mikey (top 2 in damage, too), and I am now credibly pursuing horsey. So, the payout has been worth the extended aggravation.

It's cool that they are boosting the turtles one last time, but for those of us that already have the three other turtles, offering just a couple of lame empowerment toons makes it mostly a useless 15X for the Sacred pulls. Oh Well.
