Gnut a2 is 25% weaken.  

Most of the other ally attack champs only bring 1 or 2 champs along for the extra attack.  The odds are low that Gnish would be one of them.  

My Gnish is in Regen now.  I dont remember why.  If he doesnt need Regen I can hit all the stats.  

You do not need Regen on Gnishak.

I cannot remember if bombs are modified by Weaken, but I'd guess no. (@ShortOnSkillz?)

Padraig, Lonathril & Mikage all bring the full team. Longbeard brings 4 allies, which on a team of 5 is the full team.  Kreela & Lanakis are the only Lego Ally Attackers that only bring 3 random.  Catacomb Councilor brings 3 random and Fahrakin sends everyone but himself. 

Do you not have at least 3 of these toons?  I am not sure you are gonna get it done with only two Ally Attackers.  You need to fill the debuff bar with bombs.

I have Padraig, Kreela, Catacomb and Fahrakin.  But Fahrakin is on my CB UNM speed team and locked in at 204 speed.  

HH suggests to use Weaken and he only uses 2 ally attack champs.  Looks like I will run an experimental team with fingers crossed.  

Weaken does increase bomb damage yes.

The other option is to just not bother trying to flat-out nuke him. For the longest time I just did 2x Vogoth + Master Butcher + Geomancer + Raglin (though any reviver would do). As long as Master Butcher is fast enough, he gets a turn in between each of the bomb explodes, and just keeps healing everyone back up to full.

Success.  It was not a one shot but it still worked.  Thanks to everyone for your patience.  It only took us 10 days.   lol

Tonight I ran head-on into the giant rat and there were no survivors.  The team that had worked before didnt work tonight.

Did you build a team preset and make sure it was selected?

DT likes to leave your last team in place, but deselect the team preset, so if you don't select, you won't get your programmed skill usage.  

Gear moved?  Bad RNG?  No preset?  Been 3 months so lots of things could have changed. 

Im fairly sure they said thats gonna change in a future update.

That isn't too bad for a solo run, and probably faster than my old Samar solo team, but I don't remember.

There was a lot less to do in the game 3 yrs ago, so it wasn't a big deal to throw the Bommal team on auto and check back in an hour.

I imagine the WuKong helps quite a bit with the constant revive attacks.
