Who is skipping this fusion versus completing it?
According to Skratch, Tholin is mediocre at best and is way too squishy to help in the higher levels of the Event Dungeon.

According to Skratch, Tholin is mediocre at best and is way too squishy to help in the higher levels of the Event Dungeon.
I am doing it because I have an abundance of resources. I can do this in conjunction with gearing champs that I will need.

Why are there already Tholins in every other team in arena? They are everywhere.

Really kinda depends if he can one shot everything. With his massive HP pool and good affinity hes a potentially amazing option as a go 2nd nuker. Ideally killing Nuker + reviver in one turn and then finishing the other 2 champs his next turn.
It has been 3 months. You both thought the MK Rebalance might make him viabale. What are your thoughts now? Have you given him a go?
No one has picked an MK against me in Live, and I have not seen a single one show up in high-end 3v3. I don't even think I have fought one in Classic since the Rebalance.
Seems to me that everyone just left him in the vault, and this was just another instance of a half-baked buff that did nothing except make him harder to fight against in PVE.

I'd wanted MK forever, woulda been SO helpful when I first cleared dwarf fw 21 (normal) i didnt have any nuker at the time
I finally pulled him right before he got buffed ...still havent geared him.
Honestly Gala and Morag are just better epic options.

Too loaded for Dwarves to use in hFW.

Still super mid unfortunately. Just doesn't hit hard enough / bring enough utility for high end arena.

@Trips So, what smart assery did you post and then delete?
Or was it one of those ultra rare helpful comments? But you deleted it in order to protect your reputation?
Are you using MK? I'd like to be surprised and find out that he is actually viable now.

Really bizarre timing that we get a new Force Dwarf Attacker to expend resources on, at the same time that Plarium tries to make Force Dwarf Attacker Mountain King actually usable. I happen to have three unranked Mountain Kings, so if the two Dwarf champs are relatively equivalent, there's not much reason to go for the fusion except for Boss-Killing.
IMO, the Mtn King "buff" is not enough to get him out of the vault. He needed Ignore Stoneskin on at least one skill. With all single target skills, he is still a PVP Toon w/o the ability to fight against the most prevalent PVP gear set.

Might have a place in the new Event Dungeon, one would think.
Does seem to be tailor made for that considering what we know about the boss.
