A clanmate of mine helped me figure out what was going on and I had misunderstood a skill;

I'm pretty sure now that it's just my Elva was getting hit for slightly more than 20% of her max hp, so the attack kept repeating,

Whereas my duchess, while very close in stats, is slightly tankier and was probably getting hit for just UNDER 20% of her max

And that Elva didn't have enough res while Duchess did was a completely unrelated coincidence which threw me off.

I thought this was the skill you were referring to all along and were just confused about the repeat portion.

The Resistance is certainly important since it will prevent the debuff conversion, which will prevent the damage boost. 

I know that skill but I swear I've had him hit me 6 times to kill me which obviously would mean he's doing less than 20%.

possibly there was a shield present for the first hit, so it's counting damage done to the shield as well for that 20% threshold? 

Like say their health was 60k and they had a 10k shield, that would result in 6 total hits but since the damage value was 12k, the first hit knocked them to 58k and then the next 5 hits did 60k total

Have you tried using UDK? I'm gonna try tonight, my theory is that if he redirects Ram's attack (and doesn't have duel debuff) then Ram will only hit once, since intended target will take no damage

I can't see UDK being at all useful for the team as a whole, though. He brings like ... nothing useful, to the fight.

I kinda wish I had a second Gnut, I'm sure I could easily be getting more damage, but mine is geared terribly for this, since his entire role is FK H10.

btw (and this is for everyone) if you use both keys on the same difficulty, your profile shows the total damage of both keys. I had to use 2 keys on Brutal to unlock NM for my clan so my profile makes it look like I had a really really good team lol
