Teh hell are the drop rates on that lego book?
Not one single person in my cluster has gotten it yet. Personally, I've been getting the 'win' 5 chest about 3/4 days, no book.
Same. I have actually been playing more Live every day since the change, and I get 5+ at least 75% of the time, and no lego book yet.
Wanted to ask... Live Arena currency doesn't seem to function like Great Halls does... I have 500 Bronze and 360 Silver, but I can't buy the Tier 3 upgrade for 600 Bronze? GH would have done it for 500 bronze and 50 Silver but this seems to indicate I have to pay 600 Silver, flat out, to unlock it (since I'm not able to earn bronze currency anymore)
EDIT: Before anyone gets in, yes it is pathetic I haven't even unlocked Tier 3 of Crit Dmg in Hydra yet lol

that is correct. the medal types for area bonuses cannot be combined and the costs aren't prorated, so 600 bronze medals and 600 gold medals have the same buying power.
Participation trophies for everyone!!!
Sack up, it's one frigging win. If that is too much, u are casual enough where 1 free refill doesn't matter.
The fact that anyone feels forced to do critically important content is hilarious.
Many people have lives outside of raid, they cannot always log in at specific times of the day
If making content compulsary it should be open all the time.
The truth is that doing dailies and advanced quests and other 'critical content' on a daily basis is already a ridiculous time sink for anyone remotely close to 'casual'. Adding a requirement to do content at specific times makes that worse.

Agree it should be open 24/7
The chess clock for timer of both picking and play has been suggested (not by me) multiple times here. I'd take anything that makes it quicker
The timer runs down to zero and they get more time. Only once have I seen an opponent actually lose a turn.
Improving AI (what we request over and over) would lead to more battles run on auto and speed up the process. Or lets make auto manadatory for bronze and silver levels?
The player battles are really fun...but only when they put you with equivalent players. Plarium seems to be doing absolutely nothing to help match players up for enjoyable fights. It's easy to outsmart your way into Gold, but then you're going to be fighting whales, traps, and vets....and coming soon you will be stuck on gold fighting absurd battles against characters that can 1 shot your entire team before you even get a turn. To make matters worse, they just released a new paywalled character for the price of a AAA game that can hit for 6million.
They seem to be doing nothing to balance the game either. It takes 4x the effort to have buffs...than to get rid of them. Loki and Wukong, which predominates every single team I fight on live, just absolutely nuke any attempts at having buffs except for a narrow range of builds and effort. One begins the fight with an immediate 2 turn lock out of all buffs, and all skills, the other one removes all buffs, blocks all buffs, ignores defense, and because they ignore death and revive with a full turn meter and full health, they can focus entirely on damage allowing them to 1 shot most anything. They can also build health and just soak team damage with no consequence. It's literally a jack of all trades master off all trades. It's no wonder they are in 90% of every team I face for my bracket.
They really need to focus on
1. Sensible player matching. Even level based matching would be 10x better than what is currently happening.
2. Character Balance. Unless you're making a build mistake... equivalent rarity teams should not be getting 1 shot with impunity. An entire build category, like buffs, should not be made obsolete in such a trivial fashion, by a single character, with zero risk, while equally powerful in a secondary category like nuking.
I don't want new dungeons. I don't want new characters, what I want is more chess matches and less sucker punch.
The new currency (materials for relics) looks to be primarily coming from live arena.
It is always hard to quit a game after four years time investment, but i think the determination to force live arena down my throat will be the push i need to finally stop playing to be honest.
So much about it is frustrating - despite being in silver (as i havent been playing the mode) i seem to regularly be matched against 25 million+ power players with the narses/ankora combo, a super fast armanz (faster than mine at 395 speed) and a couple of mythics so despite being in silver my win rate is about 60% . I have no idea how they find so many players in silver with these rosters.
All too often when i do match, i have to sit waiting forever for the opponent to pick or to move
And i have a specific time of day when i can play without a problem. Arena is closed at that time of day so if i even want to do my advanced quests i have to try and log in later in the evening.
I know lots here love the mode, but i doubt i am alone in really disliking it. If engagement was currently good they would not be adding the quests etc

Player power matching already happens, i have played a lot for a long time (4 years albeit as ftp) but havent touched live arena really.
I am in silver 1 due to not playing the mode and regularly get matched to players with the top mythics and legos in their roster, and regularly against players with 25M+ power
So, i am punished for having played the game a lot.
If the game is going to have competitive 'pvp' it should be a ladder mode, why should someone who hasnt played much have an easier time getting rewards on a mode? why should people be punished for grinding?

It's possible but we have very limited information so far about where stuff will be coming from.
Hopefully seasonal Live Arena will be an improvement as well.
Agreed, you can usually tell right then if youre gonna win or lose. Or at a minimum which one you have a better chance at happening.
Yes. And as you load in and immediately see who is in what gear and speeds, you know a lot of the rest.
I wonder if my record would be that much worse if I just quit out right then on fights I was fairly low odds to win.
