IMO, the Pinpoint set is designed as a counter to Armanz & WuKong for Arena fights, specifically.  This adds an anti-sheep tool to the tool-box.  

I am not going to run the Dungeon at all until there is an event or tourney that I am interested in that requires it.  If everyone plays the new content immediately, Plarium does not get any immediate feedback that says it was a stupid idea to put all the garbage gear sets in there.  Instead, they get the idea that it doesn't matter that they did that and they can be happy with themselves for not needing to offer meaningful rewards with the new content.

Day 1? Pfft! I started this thread as soon as I saw which gearsets were included.  

I am all for new & exciting content, but new & exciting content should not include old & boring gearsets that no one that can master said new & exciting content will even keep.  

Even a Plarium Defender like you can't possibly want to grind out more Curing & Daze gear....  

The other sets are irrelevant.  We sell 99.x % as it is. For this its 99.9x% ... it's same as complaining about rare gear or 5 star drops in hard mode... is what it is.   Nothing is instantaneous in this game, the grind is intentional of course.  Not sure why anything else is expected. 

This is pretty accurate overall. 

I think my chief gripe is just every set (for me and definitely those later on in the game) is purely useless outside of Pinpoint. But, I'd just be aggressive selling almost every conceivable set they'd put in anyway, so IDK. 

My most realistic gripe is probably just taking attention away from grinding for dust. :)

My main gripe is that this is just another instance of "hey grind gear for the sake of it". We *still* have nothing to actually do with that gear.

There were quite a few other gear options that people (maybe not you, but lots of actual players) would use:  Speed, Savage, Reflex, Provoke, Cursed, Regen, Stun.  If they had included even a couple of those sets, there wouldn't be nearly as many people ticked off about the chosen sets being some of the very worst sets in the game.

The Asgard Path Event compounds the error exponentially.  

If you read their text for this event, they want us to grind Turn Attack Dungeon Tourneys to earn Dungeon Gear to earn Asgard Path points to earn more Dungeon Gear to be better prepared to climb the Event Dungeon in order to earn some of the worst possible Dungeon Gear.

I wish they had released this colossal set of garbage over the Holiday Weekend, instead of this weekend.  I could have just shut off the game except for daily CB next weekend.  

Have you and @WileyMan changed your tune on running this dungeon yet?

Did I miss something?  Event Dungeon is still full of crapola gear.  

I have done 3 runs in the Event Dungeon on each of the two days that I wasn't doing some sort of Dungeon Tourney, so I am all the way up to L7.  LOL.  I will climb the Event Dungeon on days that I am not doing a Tourney or when the Tourney that focuses on the Event Dungeon finally shows up.     

I did all of the Turn Attack Tourneys at least as high as the 30 Primal Frags, so I did get some points in the Asgard Path.

It's about 50% pinpoint I think, primarily accessories. I am doing a couple runs a day as well so far only. Think I'm thru 20 with brute force already. 

The pinpoint accessories make it worthwhile. Spider continues to be devalued...

Pinpoint seems to have a higher drop rate at least.  Still haven't gotten anything I'd consider "good" but then probably put less than 1k energy into it so 

I already have a Nyresan FK H10 team ready to go for that Tourney, so prolly no Event Dungeon runs over CVC either, unless it happens to have boosted points?

Literally haven't touched it. Though I guess that will surprise nobody :p

How are sets like Attack and Life still a thing? You don't need it at all because you get Cruel/Immortal from the Clan Boss as well as the Divine Attack/Life from weekly Arena. Doom Tower sets are at least a single counterpart to the dungeon equivalents, but these are two sets with TWO alternates that are both better.

Maybe a easy fix would be to make them both 20% bonus instead? Still wouldn't be very viable but at least would be something
