I liked it, problem for me that I keep coming back to is there is no good in game method or clan communication for this type of event.

We do have everyone on discord in the clan.  The underlying problem remains the same though.  You shouldn't have to rely on 3rd party software to have proper communication with your clan.

i found it far more fun than i was expecting, honestly. trying to build teams once i had burned through my arena champions was interesting and i got to dust off some champs that hadn't seen the light of day in ages.

the rng thing is accurate though. even by plarium's standards, the matchups this time were ludicrous. hopefully it will be better in the coming weeks, although i expect it will take a while to undo the effects of the current siege.

Curious why you'd need to build new teams? You get three battles, and you can use the same team twice, so I just used two of my 3v3 teams.

You guys aren't using your rebattles to fight in the Mana Shrines??

Honestly just discovered that was a thing, but only two of the mana shrine slots are occupied so, not much to rebattle. 

Anyway, to OP - agreed this is very much *shrug*. Used two of my arena teams on stronghold, and that's it.

Do rebattles count as victories for the victory chest?  Rules say you need a victory from attack or defense to get the victory chest but we have a few people who didn't get any and the enemy's map is cleared except for the rebattles.

Also we were fortunate in that the enemy had full mana towers so there were plenty of extra fights where I had to get creative with my final teams.

No, rebattles don't count towards the victory chest :(

Defensive wins yes though, from what I understand

You get 12 rebattles. One against each defeated team. So you need to go deep into your roster eventually 

Not sure how you can complain about the matchmaking, the first one was going to be all over the map regardless of their approach. 

I understood nothing about this when it started, and possibly less now... but it's better than I thought. Our demolition of their entire map and 5k points may be part of the reason.  Hopefully we hold enough buildings to get the last reward.

And yes, the number one reason is a lucky matchup.  Though we did have 27/29 get a win on off or def.  And we had a decent plan for both offense and defense.

I just wish some of the stuff was made more clear. Like, I thought you could Re-battle with the same team but the 'two use' per champs doesn't mean stages, it means total.

Overall I'm fine with it, but there needs to be a better way to communicate strategy with clan members

I think the use 2x and out was great. I was down to scraps and went 11-1 on rebattles.  Have some naked S tiers that would help if I wasn't so damn

Or is it just that each mana shrine team can be rebattled once, regardless of who in the clan does it?

I am reserving judgment, one thing the mode has done is dramatically increase how much our clan talks to each other which is good.

Personal performance was ok as well, i had 4 succesful defences and lost twice.

I dont understand the rebattle though.

I wont my three offensive battles, which meant i had rebattle tokens spare.

I used them on the mana shrine and won, but although i got a few orbs it didnt change the score or anything?

the shrine rebattles and the rebattle tokens are two seperate parts of siege. the rebattle tokens can be used if you lose a fight with one of your offensive scrolls and want to try again on the same opponent. 

the shrine rebattles don't cost any resources. once the shrine is down, every member of your clan can attack any and all of the teams there. you can only attack each individual team once, but you get to hit all 12 of them. the mana orbs are the only reward you get from them though; they don't affect siege scores.
