Didn't watch video, but from comments I'm seeing here and elsewhere it seems my suggestion that OP could easily do this in campaign wasn't a reach.

Depends on your definition of easily I guess.  Saph told me he's gonna do roughly 2k campaign runs.

So, therefore, you said this event is no more than 5 sacreds. :D

The BIG point about the Monster Path event is that you can't pull shards for this event, only the most expensive soulstones, which almost no one will have a stock of. Plarium have effectively locked the collab event behind a massive paywall.

He must be using a lot of brews, then, because the tally on Reddit is 32,000+ energy required to do this event through farming 12:3 alone. Aside from the fact that most people are unlikely to have this much in storage, there's also the time consideration, and even then you'd need to use a third-party hack.

farming 12-3 is gonna add a chunk of energy to your total. you'll lose a bit of silver, but 12-6 nightmare is really the way to go on this one.

that or skip it entirely. that's probably the wiser choice.

yes, this also assumes one didn't bother looking at the event page first, thus attempting to use a resource (shards) for an event when it isn't possible :)

anywho, I don't blame anyone that doesn't want to do it from a sheer time perspective. i do think you'd be shocked at the F2P/low spend folks who have an insane amount of chickens/brews stored, but then there's still the time aspect to wrangle with. 

At this point Plarium can still come back and say they made an error, that shard pulls were intended to be part of the Monster Path, but that part was missed out from the final template, and so fix it. Because as the event stands, it's just a massive middle finger to the entire player base.

Durng most fusions, a lot of people already complain about the too-large amount of points needed to complete (to the last reward) the champ training events. And those take 4 days. Difference is, this path is the equivalent of doing one full CT each day, for 4 days straight, just to get the champion.

The math is simple. take rank up points and divide them by usual CT points. Example: 675/300 = 2.25 (for rank 6). Then divide 108k by 2.25 = roughly 48k. or 4x 12000.

So there you go, Have fun grinding your life away, I'm skipping this non-sense, and the titan non-sense, cuz might as well, because I value my sanity well above those punishments... i mean.. rewards LOL

What's the energy difference from brutal.  How many green shards do you forfeit? I'm not doing it either way, just curious...

You get ~10% more XP from nightmare compared to brutal. No comment regarding greens.

Ill have like an hour tomorrow before work to get some more points but they wont account for much, so heres where i stand, i had 300 gem and ~20 of each brew start, got 300 more gems from live arena, wasted all daily energy / gems on champ training. Didnt have any soul stones, got 3 i think from hydra.

Where are you getting these numbers? Canada to US 0.75 ($1 Canada is $0.75 US), so you're saying its $750 US for this champ? How can that be? I mean I've learned that your math on champions is very odd but this has been a lot of angry hyperbole. Its 107K Points and even IF you had ZERO Resources, here's what I'm seeing if you're smart about your spending, not just picking the most expensive stuff to inflate a number out of negativity:

$40 US for 29,000 Points in the shop, plus $20 for another 13,000 Points. There was 2 Eternal Soulstones for $20 each yesterday, that's $40 for another 15,000 Points. So we're at 57,000 Points for $100 (40+20+40). You'd need to be really careless with your spending to blow another $650 to get the remaining 52,000 Points. In Fact if you went day by day with the sales for the 4 Days of the Event, you'd absolutely get him using Energy and actually PLAYING the game by running 12-3 to level food and doing in-game things to get resources to use.

I mean if you want to use Ridiculous Math to get Champions, you can spend in a really inefficient way to illustrate a cost of $1000s for each leggo. There's 15 Ancients for $100, chance of Leggo is 0.5%, so you'd average 200 Shards and that would cost you $1300. But that doesn't mean that's the value of a Leggo

Welll, call me insane, but i woke up yesterday and decided to push for it, totally f2p of course. I barely had any fat chickens ready, and didnt have much of a stockpile of regular chickens either.

Started day with only 12,000 points. Grinded all day, scored about 30,000 from soulstones by selling some souls to trade for 2 big ones (got me a 6-star Bad El woot woot.

Finallty claimed Alatreon, it cost me roughly 1800 gems in energy, although i completely depleted my misery shards down to less than 40. And used about 300-350 brews of each color.

All in all, porbably worth it, 6-starred 3 people, I got enough chickens ready for another 3 when i want to rank up new ones. One-day intense grind, veruss a 14-day grind for a fusion. Not bad. But, granted, i did waste a whole day doing this.

PS. Plarium if  you read this......his trouble purchasing things  in the shop happens to all us spenders. Why can we not have a shopping cart to put  multiple  things in and make a single purchase? Making us  purchase 5-7 times  in a row is not the best way to get our $$$$

this thought just popped into my brain cell when i read this, 

if  u buy all the packs in 1 of chain offers where the prices are hidden fairly sure that wud be illegal or they wud have to show u the price when u put it in ur cart, therefor showing u the prices befor u buy, which anyone cud do and make an informed decision befor starting. obviously the exact opposite of what plarium wants!!
