Yeah I am going to be skipping the Lunar Festival and Monster Path. There are 280 points in the Monster Path. You can only miss out on 250 points in total if you want the Soul from Lunar Festival. Another large chunk will come from the Summon Rush after this event ends. So meh. Love monster hunter games but nah fam. 

It takes 107,750 to get the Blademaster from the Monster Path.  Below is a graphic I made when it came out of what path you need to go to get it in that many points. Green path to get the 2 keys then red path to get the champion.

It's shocked me how predatory the Monster Path event is. I realize now that spending money has been supporting an abuser. I'm not going to spend any more money on Raid.

@PriestGuardian, try Watcher of Realms instead - the company behind it has an amazing attitude towards players, plus they give so much great stuff away, and if you can get into it it's an amazing game and very enjoyable. If it had been a turn-based hero collector instead of defend the tower game, it would have killed Raid dead.

I could probably do it with what I have, but I won't. He looks like he could be a good support champion, but I have a life and I don't plan on putting it on hold for the next few days just to get him. But, if there was one thing positive about this event that I could say, it's that at least the cost is known. I know approximately what it'll take and I can make an informed decision about just how ridiculous it is.

Of course, that silver lining isn't much to celebrate. The only one I truly cared about personally was the archer, and she's locked behind pure RNG shard-pulling. Could be a single ancient shard, or hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of them. Even worse for those who wanted the void one. And of course they are limited edition too, because why not.

For their sake, I hope the Monster Hunter guys got paid well for this crossover. What does a soul go for these days anyway?

Well, the word "approximately" was doing quite a bit of heavy lifting there, and I didn't actually save the spreadsheet I threw together, but the summary of it was that I started with 600 3* at level 1 and then calculated the energy cost and point rewards for converting all of them to as many 6* as possible (with the food being partially leveled) based on an energy cost table I found online. That got me to 80k something points, so I changed it to 720 3* (600 and 720 just gives me nice integer numbers the whole way through).

The result I got was, IIRC, 118k points at a cost of 82k energy. Obviously this is far from optimal, but I was going for speed over accuracy. I also saw some other calculations on reddit later, which were at least in the same general area. Anyway, it was enough for me to decide that it wouldn't be worth my time, especially since I don't have 720 3* to spare and would need to also level 1* and 2*, which requires even more manual work.

Edit: I just realized something. On second thought, I think the table of energy costs I was using was the cost of the runs, so essentially the energy cost should be 1/3rd since you'll probably be running 12-3 with the standard configuration of 1 farmer and 3 food champs.

For just Alatreon ends up being roughly 1/4 the cost of a typical path event (20 sacreds usually. 20-22k energy going by saph's approach to get alatreon)

training is the best route going rank 2 to 5, partially leveling chickens and not going to rank 6 (12-6 nm is best)

Sacreds are 4.5k points each on a path typically. With Blademaster taking 107,750 points to get. That would be 23.94444 Sacreds rounded up to 24.
