Mine:

1) NOT DOING ANY RESEARCH!!! My main account is actually my 2nd attempt. My 1st account was a complete dumpster fire... to the point that I just abandoned it and started the one I main now. A few of my highlights included not choosing Kael as my starter champion & using the new player promo code for Chonoru then wasting all my resources on her...

2) Upgraded skills using Epic and Legendary books... on Kael... 🙈

3) Pulling Shards as soon as I recieved them instead of saving up for 2X & guaranteed events.

4) Wasting Arena Medals in the Great Hall on Attack and HP bonuses...

5) Gearing:  Thinking attack was the best stat for everyone (thought it made everyone hit harder), gearing flat stats on gloves & chest, gearing anything but speed on boots, priortizing set bonuses over stats, wasting silver upgrading 3* & 4* gear to 16... 

7) Thinking that every Legendary was better than every Epic / Rare just because it was a Legendary. (I built Cillian the Lucky while Godseaker Aniri sat in my vault.)

8) Thinking that a UDK was UNBEATABLE in arena!!!

I could probably go on all day...

OOF!  I feel every one of those!  Except for UDK, I've never thought he was unbeatable, just a super useful tank for mid-game.

I didn't know the difference of the skill books and used a legendary book on my starterchamp. 😃

I made the biggest mistake of all.  I created an accmount.

Same. And then I created an alt account I was only going to play temporarily... double ugh...

I bought silver ... More than once.

I bought shards. 

I bought silver. 

I bought the monthly pack a lot of times. 

I bought chain offers 🙄

I did do research... after I made most of those mistakes. RIP. Also adding not rushing my starter to 60. But is Kael really that superior? Never really understood why. Especially since is a3 isn't aoe.

I didnt realize it takes patience to play this game.  That mistake is still ongoing.  

No, he isn't that superior. Personally I prefer Athel over him even.

In my opinion, Weaken + Extra Turns + Self Buffs is better than poisons that don't scale since half of them are little. Too many good poisoners out there these days, Kael being the ultimate goat is from 2019. :)

Hard agree. Felt just fine if not better using Athel on subsequent play throughs, versus Kael. Kael has not really aged too well. :)

As for the thread question itself:

1) Taking too many champions to 40/50 who weren't going to be important to progression, or would be a champion that would end up diminishing in value rapidly

2) not reading the skills of bosses and wondering why I was getting smacked by Eternal Dragon so hard

And I had no problems at all with Elhain as a starter. I don't think it set me back one bit.

Perhaps if you'd have chosen Kael you'd be in G4 Tag right now.

I dont know if it counts ... but i fed Atlan to +1 my Crohnam yesterday ... was only using him in FW but still feel like a noob for sacrificing a decent leggo ...

1. Even though starting with Elhain didn't set me back, I still wished I started with Kael. Took me what seem like a long time to get him.

2. Accidently feeding one of the rares I needed for the Rhazin fusion when I was nearly ready to fuse him. Luckily, I was able to pull the missing rare a week or so later.

3. Switching out my Budget unkillabe team for Tower-Demytha Team for CB. I REALLY wanted a team that I could just click Auto. Made it work and my damage numbers weren't nearly as good as my budget team. Spent a lot of silver upgrading, gearing and then having to switch it all back.

4. In my do or die quest to get Lydia, I ending up booking leggo champs that I never ended up using after I completed those crypts. Super glad I finally got Lydia, but I wish I still had the books.

5. Not doing the Brogni fusion.

6. Not knowing if I made a mistake on CB, I could simply quit the app. Wasted gems on getting new keys.

don't sweat it too much. i did the same with two visix and a chaagur. zero regrets so far.
