Why don't try to use a mini semplified version of Chromium or a webkit based such as Midori or some other similar? Windows use these other browsers without problems and Plarum don't lose all the players that use different (read "better") OS... (My two cents)
I think a better question would be: why do we need a mini-browser repackaged as a gaming app? How is that better than using the original browser that this is embedding anyway?
I agree with the rest of your comments.
Today the application reinstalled itself.
I would prefer it if I could choose the default location for this.
In the past I had an older platter style hard disk. Recently I upgraded to an ssd drive to improve performance. I reserve this drive for OS and base programs. I am still using the older slower drive for installation and storage of programs and data. It is now drive D: in my laptop.
I was running the program from the older drive. Today the reinstall put it on my ssd by default.
The Problem with that is once you write data to a ssd drive that drive space is gone forever. Games and apps that constantly update and replace files will chew up your drive space quickly.
Please consider allowing users to specify install locations for your programs.
I've noticed when it times out the screen just freezes. The browser version gives you the dunkard box to let ye know it isn't still counting.
Unless ye is payin' close attention to the numbers ye might find ye troops have been sittin' in ye stronghold for awhile. It would be nice if it either didn't time out or gave us notification when it does. imo.
I've been using it since release now. So far it is working well for me. The only issue I have is related to the intro.
I use a laptop. Often I close and reopen my laptop between sessions. Every time I do it opens to a page that says "oops no internet connection". Then it restores me to the main menu page where I have to select Pirates every time. Is there a way to make the last game you played the default choice instead of always trying to get me to sign up for vikings with a failed webgl message?

Browsers are capable of zooming in and out. I find zooming out a useful feature on the world map when looking for enemy terror-tory. The Plarium Desktop App does not seem capable of this.
