📢 Dear players,
Thank you for participating in the Trial Mode test and sharing all your valuable feedback! It’s essential to help us understand what is working and what is not really hitting the mark in terms of your game experience.
We reviewed the test results as well as your feedback and have unfortunately decided to discontinue the Trial Mode feature. Starting Monday, August 3, the feature will no longer be available to players who currently have access.
The goal of Trial Mode was to give players the opportunity to try Mechs and Weapons before deciding whether to acquire them. However, the results showed that the feature wasn't delivering the experience we had envisioned. It didn't accurately reflect how content performs in real battles or provide the level of gameplay quality you expect.
Throughout the test, many of you highlighted issues such as overly powerful bots, fixed equipment loadouts, and limited opportunities to experiment. We made several adjustments to improve the experience, but ultimately they weren't enough to address the core issues you identified.
To ensure we can continue delivering meaningful updates, we are shifting our development resources away from Trial Mode and toward other priorities. Right now, we're focused on developing new Mechs and Weapons, improving matchmaking, refining existing game modes, delivering upcoming balance updates, and working on future content and features.
The Trial Mode feature will remain available to a limited group of new players while we continue gathering data. After that, we'll evaluate its future based on the results, our development priorities, and the direction we want the game to take.
Thank you again to everyone who participated in the test and shared their thoughts with us. Your input played a major role in this decision and continues to help shape the future of the game!
Please keep sharing your thoughts in the comments. We'll continue collecting your feedback, sharing with the developers, and tweaking the game to make it better.
Dear Mech Arena Team,
Do you even realize how much money it costs to fully upgrade a single mech set? It is impossible for you to not know this, considering how the game is designed. You made the blueprint drop rates ridiculously low on purpose, practically forcing players to spend real money. To put it bluntly, this feels like predatory behavior. A game economy built solely to squeeze money out of players only shows how greedy the system has become.
I urge you to listen to the constructive feedback provided above and create an environment where the financial burden on players is significantly reduced. Right now, the only reason I am still playing is because of the money I have already invested, but if things continue like this, I am seriously considering deleting the game for good.
I know everyone hates tht alot of this stuff cost alot but that's just us wanting it now "instant gratification" because it really dont cost anything at all. Well most of it. You can use A-co8ns and credits to buy pretty much everything. Just takes a long time to save up everything. Thats why I just stopped caring about how much everything cost. Just have to be patient. Save up as much as possible and go that route. What I would like is more types of actual tournaments. Better prizes to help a little more. Because I know right now if I was to buy a mech it would cost me like 50 bucks. Lol crazy. But every crazier is in the gear hub the compound beam is $99!!!!!. Insane and that's why people get mad because why would any gun in any game cost 99 dollars even 50 is crazy for a game cost more than the new gta 6 coming
"as well as your feedback"
Plarium, you might have your reasons for removing trial mode, but don't gaslight your customers. Nobody asked for trial mode to removed. Everyone likes the concept. We just want it improved. Nobody (relatively speaking) said bots were too strong. In fact most players were saying to replicate normal games in terms of loadouts so that abilities and weapons could be tested in more realistic scenarios.
Despite that feedback you inexplicably made the bots super weak instead. Now it doesn't matter what weapons you test.. you will massacre the enemy bots. I have in fact stopped using trial mode for that very reason. It doesn't give me any useful information except maybe to test the mechanics of a weapon / ability. I wouldn't be surprised if other people are reducing usage for the same reason.
Trial mode is a great idea. Don't remove it. Improve it.
