So you "updated" hangar showdown but you only fixed like half of the major issues when every aspect of it was terrible. Those fixes were half fixes at best. And it's not like your "fixes" took much effort at all it seems.
The "fix" I imagine took the most effort was making bots control players. Even that was a half fix too. Sure you fixed players being afk but you didn't fix why people AFK and that's the dogsh!t matchmaking. But I'll get to that because you implemented another not fix for that.
All 10 battles are free now, nice. That makes it so you're not spending to grind for the rewards. Speaking of removing spend to grind I hope that can extend to the combat points limit. Anyways it's still not resolving the other issue I had of HS being a time sink. It should have been made a tournament game mode so I wouldn't have to play both it and tournament to get all my resources for the day.
You updated rewards now the first 100 basic mod parts are easier to get. That's about it. For some reason the other set of basic mod parts is exactly where they were.
And you updated the star requirements for HS matchmaking, as an improvement to matchmaking I guess. But what does it actually do for matchmaking? Very little actually.
I don't get why you even kept total mech stars as the basis for matchmaking. Other things determine a player's capabilities including pilots and implants and mods and weapons equipped. And then each of those have a grade, weapons have energy levels, all of that's relevant. But you know what's not relevant? Mech star ranks, because you max them all out! Mech star ranks is only relevant to how much weapon energy you can equip. At that point why not group players based on weapon energy equipped? Except that's still easy to manipulate. Which matchmaking manipulation along with being a terrible way to match players in general is why other players and myself said that shouldn't be the basis of matchmaking, but you kept it.
So to sum up hangar showdown changes we now have 10 entry tickets to earn rewards from now, no a-coins. But HS is still a time sink. Switched around early mod parts rewards, but still could use more work. And for matchmaking you kept the most irrelevant, easily exploitable metric possible as the basis for matchmaking when you could have made it something more relevant or for the best result I think power rating as the basis just like every other mode.
The other updates are good but may be a little wanting. But this update barely changes hangar showdown. It's updates like this which make me wonder if the team is incompetent. That and you still haven't updated tournament rewards to include pilot marks, implant parts or mod parts.
