There was a time that I wanted to take Valk to at least 5 star, but then, along came Narses and kicked her out of my PVP squad entirely. I took her to 3 star before she got sidelined:

No qualms about taking Lamasu to 3 star, which is all I have been able to do so far. I use her for Chimera & Hydra.

Probably should have, but I only use in Fw so doesn't really help. If i don't plan on buying to 4 I won't use the silver on 1 or 2s...
If you are that stingy with silver essence, how much are you sitting on?
Not sure why your threshold is buying to 4*. CD is only good for Damage Dealers. 3* is what you need for 75% of toons to have a huge impact on stats, and it also improves most blessings enough to matter. Of course, 5* is even better, but a lot more resource intensive.

iFully aware that I could sound like a conspiracy nut, but as I said above, the algorithm for soul merchant drops has never been posted anywhere in the game or exposed by a data-miner to my knowledge.
If I was Plarium, I would change it based on in-game events, but of copurse, I have no way to know if they do.

So even with coin savings u aren't popping 10 or 20 for 2x?
I pulled a half dozen immortals earlier. Not sure how many I will pull total.
