I gave up on Live Arena; it's just not worth my time. It's bad mechanics all around and now I'm seeing 'players are gonna go to this game" youtubes, which I've been saying for months.
It's really shooting myself in the foot, but the rest of the game is fun, although i'm going to get knee-capped without area bonuses.
I just cannot justify the time spent getting dunked on by level 100's who max time every chance in a boring season.

Could try and sneak in some fights when Season isnt active to try and at least work on the area bonuses. I know for myself off season means I find a fight and insta quit cuz I cant be bothered by it for those 2 glorious weeks.
It finally happened. I lost to a Bot over the weekend. The game wouldn't let me ban the 6s Hephraak. I tried a few times and kept getting an error pop-up saying something about "trying to reconcile data"....whatever that means.
...and then Hephraak's passive wiped me out:

Unfortunately I've seen more numerous reports of it popping up.
In my opinion, however, it is also difficult to expect serious PvP and a balanced mode in a game that is essentially a slot machine. Either you pay or you need to be extremely lucky. Based on this premise, matchmaking is non-existent, the skill required is very low, and the fun factor is obviously minimal.
