I think the logical skips are FK & DD3, which run together.

I have not decided that I am skipping, so that means I'll probably play along.

Definitely.  It wouldn't surprise me if Hard FW required some unique effects that they have been laying ground work for for months...like Sleep in Banner Lords (Adelyn) or Petrification in Knight Revenants (Skeletor) or Freeze in Sacred Order (Noelle).

It also wouldn't surprise me if the trials have nothing whatsoever to do with any of the recent fusions and login toons.

Won't know until it gets here.

I am doing this champ because I have too many resources.  3k energy, 19k gems, 85m silver and lots of shards.  

Yup, could easily see it going either way.

Ill do it cuz fragment and fairly easy.  I've never regretted doing a fusion, have regretted missing some.

I had every intention to.  Then I got busy helping the in-laws with the house build so I missed some event.  I'll end around 80 frags to exchange.  But knowing hard FW requirements now im really not fussed.

This game has become increasingly nonsense day by day. I never played any game , whose ui enemy always become stronger when the game is played in multi battle mode. It's called corruption in ui enemy. So not a single player can experience same results in multi battle mode. Whether my players are a bit stronger than ui enemy like arcane king, the arkans king will defeat my players in multi battle mode , after playing 3 to 4 times. It's even hilarious when the spider queen is toying my players for eternal turns , and nobody is winning . Therefore, I am leaving this game. Seriously,it's pure non sense.
