I mean Fleatoad is definitely wrong about the low rank glyphs but a full set of 6* glyphs can absolutely give a 20% damage increase if not more. First, if it's an ATK champ, that's potentially 32% Bonus ATK score before crit dmg multipliers THEN you're potentially talking 40 points of Speed (5x8) which is a increase to total turns. 

Not to mention Rank 6 Accuracy Glyphs can roll a ton, so much so that you can replace an ACC Banner with a ATK Banner or something which is even MORE damage.

Rank 6 Glyphs are huge differencemakers

6x +3 speed = 18 that alone is more than an extra 10% speed on a champion in 4* gear.

Do you understand how bad 4* is compared to 6*?

Banking on rolling high on every glyph (not to mention you need the speed glyphs to drop in the first place) seems thin.

This is of course on top of the notion of investing in champs who won't help us progress in anything meaningful like dungeons/CB and eventually Doom Tower. I don't think investing in champs for the purpose of Faction Wars is something anyone should do until they're getting to Stages 18-21 (where you can actually get 6* glyphs) or when you're pushing for Lydia.

The less money you spend on this game the more economical you're going to want to be with your resources. We're not looking for incremental gains for awhile in the game, but rather looking to get to a point where we're clearing dungeons and able to start stockpiling resources to get fusions.

Regardless of whether someone thinks content should or shouldn't be available or even how annoying it is to not clear the dailies, it is straight up a net negative from an energy/resource perspective to be focused on that over taking champs to 60 who can actually do something for you, or even having chickens built up for when you do get useful champs. 

Of course, everyone is free to play the game how they'd like but lacking focus is a good way to end up with a stalled account.

Nowhere did I say boosting only a single stat. 

You are free to disagree but provide a reason for why you think I am wrong. What do you think the stats are for a new account and what do you think the increase will be from using 3/4 star glyths on them?

I've already answered your question. I think a newer player will spend a ton of silver wasting glyphs on extremely sub-par items, and, since I'm not going to hold their hand on every decision they make, I instead will simply say "don't use them". And, by extension, since I'd be recommending they don't use the glyphs, I similarly will be recommending they don't waste resources on worthless champs for the sole purpose of advancing through faction wars.

Are there champs whose main role will be to get you through FW? Sure, especially at the very top, where sometimes you just have to hold your nose and pick that useless reviver who you'll never use anywhere else (hello Fang Cleric). Should you be doing that to get through some random early stage? Definitely not.

I really don't understand why you're arguing with us. You've had responses from some of the most well-knowledged people on these forums, and yet you seem to think you know something they don't?

So what is your time line on getting a full set of legendaries to do faction wars? 1 year, 2 years? 

Also why can those useless champs not be used as food later on?
