As in, do I use Gnut on those teams? No, because SD I just do SD24 using Ninja and Aniri, when I bother doing it, that is ... though maybe I could use Gnut on the 25 team. More to the point, though, I just don't bother doing those at all :P

I don't use Gnut for any of those either.

SD i use Aniri, Ninja and 3 chickens

Shogun I use Coldheart, and Seer locked to a1, for dps, 'cause they're both 6* blessings, and happened to already be at exactly the right speed for the gnarlhorn/paragon comp. whereas I only have a 3* blessing for Gnut

For IT I use Coldheart and Geo for dps

However, I don't use Gnut in IT 15 or Shogun 25.  I prefer Harima for IT 15 and Gnut is Weak Affinity on Shogun 25, so I use Rathalos for damage there and he does not disappoint.      

Sand Devil & Shogun get most of my "spare" energy.  

I use Gnut for SD 25 with Godseeker, I'm not sure why anyone else would be better in 2-person teams since Gnut does his A3, dies, does his A3 again, ect. But I have Ninja decently built so maybe Moored is on to something?

My Shogun team is Lydia, Mikage, Cardiel, Ninja and Thor. All have 5 star souls except Mikage (3 star) and I have the Order setup that on ally attack, Thor always goes first with his Enfeeble and then everyone else strips the stacks. 

Gnut and Ninja are my DPS for CB NM/UNM. Mikage, Gnut, Ninja, Cardiel and Lydia. 150-180mil on UNM by Boss Turn 30ish on quickbattles. I was using Pythion till I got Cardiel (also Cardiel in 9p Protection so 20% bonus dmg)

Do you find yourself doing all the SD tourneys with a 2 man team?  They have so many I prefer a speed team but then I only play on mobile so getting stuff done faster makes life easier for me.

Yeah it's the only 100% team I've been able to do. Decent points for Turn Attack overall

Gotcha.  What's the usual time for a run?

2 Minutes and Turns 41-47. However I should probably turn Gnut's A2 off because that's probably adding about 20-30 seconds to the run with his counterattacks.

If I could get Gnut's speed higher, the run would probably be 30 turns or less at about 1 minute. Getting him fast enough to be able to A3 before SD AOE each time would be back to back A3s.

Of course if I brought a 3rd champ like Lydia who could survive SD's first AOE and place Dec Def and Weaken during sleep, Gnut could probably take 50% or more of the health bar off after he's rezzed the first time.

job done hopefully, only done a few runs, need Gnut to have low hp so he dies or it takes longer and always got 3% chance of Adelyn not sleeping, not sure what happens if Ramantu dosent land all debuffs

In my experience with the 2X Gnut team above, I can still win the fight if Weaken does not land, as long as Dec Def does lands, but if Dec Def does not land, you can lose the fight, even if weaken lands.  However, Ramantu places fewer debuffs than Riho, so he gives a smaller damage boost.

Although my speed-tune is different and I am not using any stoneskin, the basic theory of Max HP Dmg and reset is the same as my team above, which can easliy be replicated with Ramantu in place of Riho, Marius in place of the second Gnut, and Renegade in place of Kymar. 

I gotta say, it really sells the value of Adelyn in SD if someone with Ramantu AND Marius is making her the keystone of the build.

Side note: I am legitimately enjoying how far off topic the thread has gotten BUT I really do hope there's some sort of change coming so that Warmaster/Giantslayer isn't such a issue in Chimera against Ram. We're talking about using up to 1500 gems to respec a team to avoid the masteries...
