What are the chances a new player even learns about the new player promo codes within the window. Unfortunately, the first disappointment from this great game is a big one as I was late to learn this. Creates a massive disadvantage in arena for those who were ignorant to a free champion.

would also like to add to those folks rolling in and disappointed by lack of promo codes: the game seems to have taken a shift over the past 12-18 months where they're leaning more into promotions to get folks free stuff, i.e. login champs and similar events (though it'd be nice to see something like call of the arbiter comp back where there's energy and other goodies for players to get as they make new accounts, not necessarily time locked) rather than promo codes
