The being able to fire Burrow beams, MRs, and charge rockets. While going invincible without fear, is really way way too over powered. Then add being able to capture control points while invincible, on top of not having a single counter ability from any other mech. Really makes this a terrible mech design, game balance wise. The whole reason the game is fun is from being able to counter and find clever ways to win, and this mech negates all of that. Then they gave it HP regeneration for zero reason. Hp means little with a invincibility button every 10 second, and practiced timing. Something has to change, this mech did not help game balance, it blew the whole thing up. Try playing CPC vs a team of players using 2 or more VGs at once, as they invincibly out run everyone, and capture points while firing storm racks or burrow beams. Then they go hide with the second use, and do it all over again in 10 seconds. This is worse than not being able to use mods until rank 6 while other could at rank 3. VG needs to have countering abilities from other mechs, if not what are we doing? What's the point of the game with a god mode mech?

It's actually not that good, I been playing it at maxed level this week, and I die easy, soon as ability is over, you're vulnerable 10 seconds, an 5 mech are coming at you, I've even died a lot when the first ability is over and I go to fire and before I press the second ability and boom I'm dead, so yeah, it's easily countered, plus outlaw can keep you permanently disabled from using the ability

Terminator, you only care about maxed lobbies (where you are playing rn), but others are talking about voidghost in their lobbies (where they are playing rn) Using a maxed mech against maxed mechs and experienced players feels weak. But when using the same mech at rank 4 with such a broken ability, and without even having a reliable counter, it's always gg for the opponent team. You can say your point, but try to not dismiss others' opinions.

After modifiers the mech will be weak, till that what will be done? Voidghost's ability is too strong and makes it nigh-impossible to kill it in any low to mid-sp battle.

From your comment, I could see that you might rush into groups of enemies with your maxed Voidghost (assuming you're using Stormracks with it) try using it as a camper. It'll make you a top MVP pretty easier (lots of VG players become one like that, in 5k-7k sp)

But everything feels over powered in lower hanger levels, when nomad first came out, it felt over powered for low level, same when seeker, surge, lacewing, eclipse, deathwalker etc etc they all felt over powered in low level matches, but they're legendary mechs and are meant to be more powerful than epic mechs,And I was just giving my feedback of how it isn't great at endgame, it's ok but not top meta and it definitely won't be when the modifiers are over,

And yeah I like to push forward on tournament matches, it's pointless staying back and camping, well some 5 vs 5 it's good to camp but control point it's definitely better pushing forward, stormracks aren't good on it really, burrow beams and geminis are the best for it, I'm still learning to use the mech so guess I'll just have to try hide better,

It actually plays ok in showdown though as its easy to hide and you're only fighting 2 mech,

But tournaments, mech like outlaw and orion are definitely better, I might change mind once I'm used to voidghost though, I'll just keep practicing with it

I got voidghost this week from the free token and I've maxed it out, to be honest it's not that good, soon as the ability is over your vulnerable for 10 seconds so you die easy in normal matches and tournaments, it's ok in showdown but still easy killed, tried it with burrow beams, stormracks and geminis, so yeah its not that great and definitely won't be a meta mech when the modifiers are over

I agree. i've seen the mech and so far its been able to be beat pretty easily.I do have to say, it does seem very view people know how to properly use this mech, rushing in without taking into account what happens afterwards instead of using it to avoid damage.

Voidghost isn't invincible, but it does force you to completely rethink your strategy. I've encountered him several times, and I usually take him down with Surge, Seeker, and Deathwalker.

Thanks to everyone who has been sharing their experiences with the rest of us. However they don't offer much insight unless you also tell us what rank it was during the experience and what your SP was. Thanks :-).

Aside from that I do expect that as time goes on people will learn to use Voidghost more effectively, and on the flip side people will learn to face it more effectively. Right now most people are still learning on both sides, which means the "OP/not OP" opinions could change over time.
