Unless you are new to these types of product, it's just like any other games that allows pay to win/progress/etc... You will always run into those that takes advantage of the swiping power. Though, Plarium does a very decent job of not overly leaning on the pay wall.
If you are just upset and want to vent, well, you can find other threads here or on discord that has your answers and sentiment to quell your anger. Or, try hitting a pillow (safer route). 😛

what does this even have to do with pay to win? do you even look at the screenshot?
No there is no balance in this game, we have to enjoy what we are given. I think the initial balance was written in a very ancient programming language that uses only 0s and 1s, that programmer died, so now nobody in the world understands that language to be able to do any changes to matchmaking and balance, not even AI.
All they can do now is nerf mechs and intriduce new robots, they will now start fixing the issue by nerfing Salvor and Continuums. Just wait for 8th wawe rebalance.
Continuum becomes trash after the seasonal modifier ends, no need of a rebalance for it
Salvor is quite formidable, though nerfing the mech makes it pretty unusable like Hemlock and Solis.
It's not about p2w, it's about SP droppers who think they're tuff with using their one strong mech and weapon loadout, fight 1k-3k sp players and brag about their win rate shamelessly. Such a pity :)
the pity is that they are fully legal and supported by developers no matter what developers are actually saying about it, nothing gets done against it. For starters they could remove legacy 1 slot in hangar and enforce 5 slots for everyone. Unless they going to introduce newbie servers where it actually felt like unlocking a slot is an achievement, i still remember those days.
Im wasting my words and time here, they dont care, of 1 million ways to fix it they will choose none.
From what I'm told balance is actually okay at top level play. Maybe a few things need to be buffed but nothing is OP
Elsewhere it's nonexisten though I can tell you that for sure. I don't think mech arena has switched programming languages but I imagine everyone that said "no" to adding stupid BS OP items got fired at one point.

Maybe I should have added, swiping power AND power advantage. Swiping power comes into play being the shortest route to power advantage. This game and every other games with some sort of P2W/Prog. will not limit those that are paying to only a certain section of the game. It is one of the reason that keeps some (if not many) paying. Look at all the MMOs that have a P2W/Prog structure, like Diablo Immortal where a people spend well over $100,000 to keep up on the leaderboard. Or, those autoplay games where a new server is created after only a few 100 people join just so the game company can keep the money rolling in from those that wants to stand in the middle of a battlefield and one-shot everything. War Robots is another good example of feeding dopamine to spenders.
I'm not agreeing to what these game companies are doing. Infact, I have the same sentiment as the OP. But, you also need to look at the elephant in the room. I'll even add that many SP drop for another reason: Events are much quicker and easier to complete when doing so, which, encourages SP dropping, unfortunately.
At any rate, hopefully, I explain what I ment when I posted the above reply.

At top level play chances are the player already spent a chunk of money. At that point they really can't make things harder for the player to make them want to upgrqade. They already upgraded. Only by using bots at this point.

They could do what war robots is doing to keep the max players spending. They could increase the max level. They could also have a new META item every season. Though we do get 1 copy of each so maybe they couldn't do that to the same degree. But they could try if they really hated the players.
I would like to weigh-in on this too. I haven't played very long, and don't have money to play so I cannot upgrade through cash. However, matches seem way over-balanced and unfair. If you join a control point battle for instance, you get put on a team with usually no other real players - just bots. However, the other team has like 3-4 players who are WAY overpowered against your measly self. What gives?

If you are roughly 2500 SP or less, you will most likely play with more bots. If you are 10k+ SP, you'll also play with more bots. It seems that the main pool of players' hangars are around 2500-9000 SP (give or take) with the median being around 5000 SP. You also have to take into consideration the time of day you play.
If you take all of the above into consideration and you play within the SP range and during primetime, you will run into many almost full to full player parties (and also premades). For high SP plays (above 10k), they are also playing during primetime, special events, weekends, etc.

never seen what you are describing is happening in any game. The matchmaking put either equal amount of humans on the opposite team or if it cant do it then you play against all bots.
Give us a single screenshot where your team has all bots and enemy tram is all humans, im sure its impossible and you just "think" they are humans or "think" that yours are bots.
So, that is a problem - yes? It means that in order for someone like myself to play, I have very limited windows of opportunity to play unless I am on some team with everyone on a headset. It's like Overwatch all over again
It's like this in all MMO games that has a long grinding period to end game (unless you pay). This is especially true with games that have been out for awhile. Think of a bell curve.

Nope, I'm top level end game player with all hangers over 20k, I've never spent a penny, I just played a lot the first few years, spoke to the top clan members, learnt things and got good advice, so I just saved resources for meta things and not waste them, it's actually easy to do if you know how, but yes it takes years to do, it's not that hard if you have patience
Its called sp drop hanger whale cheaters, the crap i face is very very bad and gets worse. I have been facing this
And it gets worse my inventory power is 31k hanger power little over 9k, i can't face people like this and they wont fix it because it would make all whales unhappy
You're not facing 20k hangers with a 9k hanger, they are just setting up a 9k one in their 3 hangers, so they are using a hanger that is the same balance as yours, best thing to do is target them when you see them and hide and shoot at them only, you can easy beat them if you target them, because I guarantee they only have one or maybe two good mech in that low hanger, and the rest of their mech will be weak, so if you kill their first spawn mech, they'll probably just leave the match 👍

You're probably right about that, but how do you even know? Some of the names are repetative, and you see them often - those are bots, right? Tonight I played several rounds and it does indeed seem to be more human players (unless they are bots and I just can't tell the difference), but they have massive weapons and Tier VII mechs (I only have Tier 3) with things like Versa 12's that just obliterate me in almost 1-shot!
There is a place called Recommended Friends, where all the real players are listed, just visit it after the battle to see who were real people and who were bots (not listed).
You can find jaime, sirHenryt and BDM in the list of recommended, the others are bots.
And here there was not enough humans to match us, so all enemies are bots. You will find this pattern very quickly is you start playing with friends, you will see that if you have 4 friends playing the enemies are almost always bots, there is just not enough humans to to put same amount against you.
And the bots will always be with better weapons and mods, otherwise they would play much worse than humans, they are stupid after all.
Yep papa is 100% right, I try play tournaments with at least 4 friends and it's most mostly bots we face, easy wins and I get top 500, if I play on my own I get stupid weaker teamates and sometimes lose 😅
But yeah, if you play on your own in matches then whatever real players are on the opposite team, then you'll have the same amount of real players on your team, they're just probably not in clans so you think they are bots

That's actually a proble. Having no room to experiment as you make your way to the top is a problem
