Btw so are you removing the battle limit or the a-coins cost or what?

Can't share much yet. Stay tuned, there will be more info about the upcoming Hangar Showdown updates.

I'm really not interested unless you remove the battle cap and the a-coins cost and stop forcing me to play that game mode. If that isn't part of the announcement, I'm flipping tables

The matchmaking has a decent number of complexities, I'm sure.

As someone who makes games, good matchmaking is actually pretty hard.

Unfortunately, it's still definitely feels flawed. I previously had a pretty good experience with hangar showdown, and in the top league would most often get at least 50 elite mod parts.

Then suddenly, something changed and I can barely scrape 100 points from all 5 battles..

My guess? People aren't playing anymore.

The matchmaking has a bit of an issue, present in any game. The less people who play, the worse the matchmaking will be.

Whenever I play HS nowadays, it's almost always me vs someone and bots.

As people get bored or frustrated, they stop playing, and that makes the MM worse, and so makes more people stop playing.

I think I especially end up with a problem as I'm closer to the pool above me than the pool below me, but the pool above me is just basically fully maxed, which I can't compete with much.

Another issue HS has is that progressing in the rewards is very heavily tied to whether or not you win, you get 2 points for kills and like 20 per won round, and I think that's intentional.

That's true, it is basically all or nothing. If you lose, you get jack. Even if you made kills or did damage. If people got some reward when they lose, I think fewer would be angry. With no rewards, it feels like a waste of time.

When winning, or at least being competitive, I enjoy the mode. You learn tactics and how to play your mech and weapons- often after dying and watching your teammate finish it out. There is a lot of skill to learn.

True... I wish they just added 2v2 Deathmatches back. They're quite more efficient. I don't mind if Hangar Showdown coexisted with 2v2's.

Hangar Showdown, yes I've played a maximum of 4 games since it came out, like everything else, it's a truly pathetic mode, there's not much left in the mech arena to play... or at least there's no way to play for fun anymore, because let's not forget, that's the main factor. HAVE FUN, but there's no fun here, there's only the race to see who spends the most, poor game... ZERO FUN TANP MONEY. I only feel sorry for the newcomers, who will become poor in a few months, for a game that we now know is maintained by... NERF NEGATIVES .... AND AI MANIPULATIONS.

and then we stay tuned, we've been tuned for 4 years, but nothing has changed, and we've only seen things getting worse... no MECH ARNEA HAS BEEN DEAD FOR A LONG TIME, and the lack of players is demonstrated by the new maps dedicated to this useless mode... lots of words, no juice.... how can I say... LOTS OF SMOKE... NO ROAST. ----AMEN----
