In defense of volti, it's power is only strong enough to kill already weak mechs, it takes time, you have to be within 90m of it, if you move over 130m from it the feet will stop. As a volti user it's only on low levels that it's power is a sit back and kill thing. It takes 6s to use the power and 17s to recharge. Which is 23s and one shock won't kill any stronger mech, which means you could kill at most 7 mechs in a 5min cpc if you could avoid any enemies, at less than 90m. Volti is always going to be close if he effects you, close enough for you to try and kill before you get close to dying. 

Oh, and lock on time is up to three seconds. I use straight shooting weapons, so for volti best is to find cover, and break cover to shoot, only using the power to weaken the closer enemies that are in a possible line of fire. But with the longer shooting human who stay in one spot, if you can get close enough without being seen you can use your power on them, but only with a follow up of open fire, so it's only benefit is freaking them out so they drop their guard.

I think it's main reason for existing is shields. The only other mech that can breach some types of shields is gatecrasher. Imagine two mechs who keep switch on their dome shields in tandem, unless you kamikaze them and hope you survive they will hold their ground forever.

I admit I don't know why I don't see gatecrasher more. It can shoot through walls and the dome shields. I suppose it's because it's ability doesn't do enough damage. Poor old Onyx, if you  get it to hit anything it's like a pea shooter.

This game just sucks and their inability to correct this issue of matchmaking is ridiculous.  I will forever continue to give this game bad reviews and discourage anyone and everyone I can to not play this game or download this game. Maybe if enough people dont play this game or download this game then hopefully they will listen to is.

Yes you absolutely do. "Offensive statement" is so subjective you might as well say that you and palarium objectively censors here in the forums"?. I personally have been banned because of having a dissenting opinion which was accurate justifiable. And personally  in my humble but objective  opinion is that you arent to be trusted. EVERYONE with even 6 months of history visiting the forums is aware of your tendency to brush off very valid and important issues with tired response of, "the devs are aware (have been informed of) of the issue and are working on it." With no fix and or adjustment for years.  Instead of continuously copying and pasting the same tired response? Why not genuinely discuss the issues and/or have an open dialog about it? Because you can't. plarium has a history of putting profits over its users. I wouldnt be surprised at all if you ban me and delete this. Factually speaking it would confirm everything I have just stated. Even if no one knows I know and thats absolutely most important.

Totally agree. This matchmaking is broken. Facing players with five times your power isn't a competition, it's a slaughter. Power-based brackets are a must for fair play.

In regards to matchmaking, devs have decided to continually pretend to listen to the players. They think if they actually listened in other areas they can just leave the matchmaking system as is and take the few safeguards it had off, call it a "test" and reel it back in to where it was to make it looks like they actually did something and hope we don't notice. Get us to say "yay plarium is listening to us look at all the player feedback they've implemented", some will go and make a purchase or a few because they wanna support the game (fools) now refuse to quit because of sunk cost fallacy, and become convinced that f2p should be grateful they're even allowed to exist in mech arena and this abusive system is actually the right one until maybe at some point they stop purchasing and thus stop getting matchmaking favor and they get brought back to reality. We all move on until complaints about matchmaking reach a boiling point and repeat the cycle all over again.

Pc vs mo ile player matchmaking should not be allowed at all, there other games too and they know the difference and undie advantage pc players get over mobile game so they keep it seprate where is mech arena sleeping on this topic 

Also it feels like match making is inventory based more that hanger based if I decide to play with epic makes just for fun I can't do it because my inventory power will allow same players of my highest hanger power to match with my fun hanger

Expect to have that issue get worse there have been complaints that some epic mechs feel stronger than a lot of legendaries they are in a sense punching above their weight and plarium has acknowledged that as a "problem" that they're working on. Last time they "fixed" the lines between categories being blurry being a "problem" they changed the game so rare mechs got one shot by legendary mechs damage abilities at the same rank but they can still get matched together to this day. So expect a bunch of the best epic mechs to get hard NERFed or worse yet a legendary buff across the board so all your lower grade mechs get one shot soon.

And the matchmaking algorithm doesn't match you based on your equals. You are expecting it is meant to match you with your equals in some way that's why it looks like it's based on inventory power to you Instead what's happening is you were just using legendary mechs and doing alright so based on your performance that's where the matchmaker thinks you should be and it needs time to adjust. If you wanna win as much as possible while having fun that's just not an option right now. Maybe it would be if not for the no skill spender buff mech and weapon grade update. Seriously the worst update in the history of mech arena needs to be reversed not done again but it's going to be done again.

Since you're done spending, expect to start losing a lot more. I don't think you can exactly "become f2p" on an account you already spent money on, but that's where your status in the matchmaking algorithm will go. You can kiss fair competition with even your best builds goodbye. You're to be demoted.

Killed 5 times by the same MECH. AI-controlled BOT. How can you say your game isn't controlled by your stupid AI? ===: As always, it proves to be a bot-controlled game. So many words said just to appease the players' anger. You're an old story now. Game suitable only for new players. 4 months and then they're gone. Scam game, everyone knows it now. A mountain of waste of money and time.

I'm finding the best way to win at the moment is go on suicide runs, have all my mechs killed within a minute and a half and then let the bots finish the game. Don't  know if that's the strategy plarium are working towards but it isn't fun.

I told you Plarium,

1. I only play cpc

2. I only play against bots

3. I am going to use the builds I want to use, if that's an onyx with dreadshot, that's what I'm going to use.

4. You control the bots.

5. It's your job, what you get paid for, for me to have an enjoyable experience.

I like your zeal. Unfortunately there are way too many filthy casuals constantly and consistently throwing away money at this game to have its intended purpose. Let them have it. This game does nothing but show it's true shady colors more and more every single day and people keep literally paying into it. The system is working as intended and will never change even during it's final dying moments they will try to suck pennies through straws... they love their shady reputation and will rot in their graves with it.
