please be serious, most sapphires are purchased.  and as turok stated, you cannot differentiate the handful of sapphires gained through "gameplay" and sapphires purchased.

it is stated that you can win sapphires in tournaments:  try winning them in tournaments through the growth paths of quests and tribute.

winning sapphires in tournaments due to the use of purchased sapphires makes all sapphires won purchased.

at least it had to be 300k for win 300k (min considering the full price), each "casual"  extraction disappear many sapphires  from the prize pool
