The sparta forum,, most of it is under "beta",,,, what has not been deleted already...

Well, just because something reach a beta, or a testing stage, it doesn't  necessary mean it come to completion, based on results in the testing. Like project become more costly, time consuming etc than expected returns. yada yada yada..

Hello, everyone!

Lord GADHERAS is right. After news about Flash destiny was released, devs started to think about the new engine and movement of our games to it.

I can't give you any signed in papers where all devs of the company put their signatures and made an oath they're working on the new engine.

But I can tell you about their current tasks and priorities. We have one separate team who is working on the new engine and you can see from Sparta that the process of movement is going.

Why would it take so long?

Because first, they need to move all players from Spart to WebGL, fixing all reported bugs during this process, and only then start to move Stormfall players to the engine.

As for the new features, devs don't plan to add them now as it's not logical to move them back and forward from the old engine to the new one. It will be easier to add them to WebGL at once.

Bankruptcies are caused by a false investment or a kick out of competition. The company is a heavy machine it will not like when you operate individually. When you are praised, it means responsibility is placed on you.

Wait to see what products will replace the flash!?

There is a lot of platforms that can replace flash for different purpose.... Flash always been riddled with security issues. When no continious support is being made in that regard, no sane company would still keep going with flash as a platform. It would just become a liability for them and the users. The normal people as you say, that doesn't care? Well I'm sort of normal and I damn well care about security.

Yet, neither of the games can stray to far apart from each other and blossom in their own right. Such a shame.

Well they started as the same game but with different graphics, so the likelihood of them ever becoming very different games is low.  They'll probably just each have a few unique features.

Good evening Lord! Pardon me, but I couldn`t understand you at 100%. If you refer to me as bored of the game, you are completely wrong. Because I am daily online with my league, having fun ingame. I wanted to point out that if Plarium wants to keep us playing the game, sooner or later they will have to do something - to introduce a new feature(s), and I believe the time has come. I`ll give you another reason why I insist and why I really hope Plarium will introduce new features to us, is that I am playing since late 2015 and so far I`ve seen gaming improvement in the stuff Plarium has implemented, but if we have to be honest....we haven`t seen anything new on our servers from kinda long time :)

New content is fine as long as NOT, new over powered pay to win items adding to the gap between the average joe and the big spenders. Here have a new feature, oh wait it come with a price tag of 10 bucks, and if you want to want to do it again, another 10 bucks please... keep it coming...  pay up.... MONEY.... for the purpose of balance..... If you think a good new feature is a straw into your wallet that keep sucking.... then I pity you :/

If the bonus did benefit the ones that had the least, so it decreased the more units you had, could be something to help close the gap though. So if you got a bazillion power, you get hardly any benefit what so ever from the bonus, but if you a small fry you get quite high bonus... Would make sense from a "logistic point of view" PLARIUM! you know smaller units work more effective than larger ones... tactics and all that you know... STRATEGY :p

How long ago since you could count the number of level 5 beacons on more than two hands, even ONE HAND? How much longer time is needed to observe and analyze? It start to get ridiculous to throw out that sentence knowing how long time its been now. This tune is starting to get very old.... Ask your higher ups to for another line to serve us please? for our amusement if nothing else....

First of all, let's don't forget Facebook and plarium.com are different platforms and it's absolutely okay they differ in some features.

At the moment, devs are focused on the development of the new engine that will be used for plarium.com games.

Once it's done, they will start adding new features. But for now, movement to the more reliable and stable engine is their highest priority :)
I totally agree that it is best to have stable engine which is reliable and stable, no doubt in that! But it has been long time since we first heard that Devs are focused & working on the development of new feature that will bring the beacons back into the action, now I read they are working on new engine? Why not implement facebook servers engine to plarium.com servers? I definitely cannot speak from the name of all players, but the majority, I am sure, are wating from too long to see something new, exciting, that will give them motivation to keep playing the game. To be honest, I ask those questions, cuz I like the game and the community, and seeing more and more peeps to give up it`s kinda dissapointing, you know?

Though we all are waiting for the new features, new engine and Beacons are not features that can be changed easily and fast. 

The new engine will influence the whole game. Absolutely all features should be moved to it and it's definitely not the changes of one day.

As for Beacons, we all know, it's quite a big feature and devs need to analyze much information about players interactions with them before making any decision.

I will ask them for the update on this question to understand where it stands for now.

Why can't we move FB engine to plarium.com? Because these are absolutely different platforms. One of the most obvious differences is that on Facebook we actually have a third-party member (Facebook itself).

I know our guys could, so someone else can too . The number one league ranking spot can be easily attained in an hour or 2 by anyone with 100 pathfinders ,  easy to take over the map as it is now ...

There are a lot of great things on this game otherwise we wouldn't all be spending so much on it  . BUT the game mechanics have changed and the game is dysfunctional. Plaruim HAS found the solutions to this dysfunctionality , great and wonderful solutions , but they just are not currently giving them to us.

 

when attacking level 6+ walls cause who really knows if they are level 10?  If you know how to use the bonuses available it is not as bad a some think unless of course if defense is boosted in - if you raid blind then you will likely lose units - know your target and you can do damage with reasonable losses 


If you don't raid and build and are not willing to lose some units for the sake of actually playing the game then I suppose you could leave your troops tucked away and wait for improvements to spend your money on
Most people who are willing to hit a defended castle with level 6+ walls probably wouldn't care much whether they're level 6 or 10, since they'd better be ready to lose a ton of troops hitting a castle with those big walls either way.  It would be nice if the different levels had different colors or something though. 

agree on the color thing with those walls, but yeah if you are willing to take some losses i suppose that is where the game play is atm


the game is on its way out may as well use those armies we have been building for over 3 years 

Well as I see it, as this stage, using up your army is your exit ticket as there is no worthwhile way back :p

LOL, to be careful?! Mate, are you serious?! Everyday I am doing my daily raids, visiting my friends castles (sending trips etc) and while doing that I complete all my Divine/Mar`eth quests. Building troops doesn`t requires much attention, nor skill :D and all that`s left to do are some battlegrounds....all these things I do  for like 2 hours (or maybe less).....

SO YEAH! I wish for something new ofc! ^^ :P I would like to see beacons again at level 5, more action around them! I`d love to see Balur more involved into the game - improved/new PvE features, ya`ll feel me?
And you think the new features from facebook are going to result in a bunch of level 5 beacons?
I hope, the new features will give us tools that will allow us again to focus and get involved into action with the beacons!!!

Wouldn't then a better response to the questions about beacons, to be it will be looked at once the game ported to new engine. And then be hold accountable for doing just that, rather than the bs about analyze data? :p


No, because it's not the right response. The situation with Beacons is already looked at. 

As for changes, devs are going to add to them, I don't know when it happens. I don't have any information whether it will happen before moving to the new engine or after it.

Companies want to have their proprietary products on the market.  

The flash has been developed for a long time and is accessible. The large market also means that you are occupying another's land. Why do you think they did not continue because of security flaws?

There are many things that are offered and no one likes free for others. If so they just bite the dust that lives.

The thing I see is just the replacement of the product. After the flash finishes know where will more of the flash code be shared for free?

just a market takeover.

There will be rumors that all those who are building flash games will go bankrupt.

If used for non-commercial purposes the flash is still available. Winxp is no longer supported but i still keep it for other purposes. Some companies have cracked Microsoft's monopoly on using non-Microsoft products.
