I think they should let us move the sh for the same reason they gave us the exile button. To help prevent other clans from tile sitting in another clans sh. If there is over lap, it's the same thing. 

They should have made the space between sh much larger that it was when the game started. To allow for expanding later on. 

Yes, I think a stronghold relocate would be a good idea.

Some clans build their stronghold before they have worked out how the game works.

In some kingdoms, there are so many overlapping strongholds that there is not room for many members and I am sure it is annoying.

i think being able to relocate strongholds would be good idea some people put lots of money into thier strongholds, and like other have said, it gets messed up when some one not paying attention creates one too close and ends up overlapping as we all grow...
