I have not had such fail yet. I think that in most cases these dudes have lost their bubbles by reason of their own mistakes. 

It may be a rumor, so dont take what i say as a fact, but i *heard* that if you use 8h shields and stack them up while having a townskin going... IF the townskin happens to run out like just seconds before one of your 8h-circles end, it could make your shield drop for some time. And when u come on again, the shield is up for u and u dont get why you could have been hit in the first place....

Yeah, it happens with 3-Day Shields too.

Happened to me, right after they did an update; and I had had 5 Days+ left on my Shield prior to this little hiccup.

I lost most of my troops, and much of my resources. After 3 weeks of back and forth, Plarium Support said they couldn't help me unless I sent them a screenshot of the actual game report showing my loss of resources.  Including 99% of the Tier 4 and Tier 5 warriors I can't use because I don't have the knowledge levels required; but which always come with the 'Fantastic Deals' Plarium sends out if I have the money to buy anything extra.

Oops. So sorry. Too bad for me.

Basically, I was told if I wasn't happy, I wouldn't be missed.

I also have had the same problem of shield dropping early. Just found my shield had dropped early loosing all troops and another towns troops which I was keeping for safety! really pissed off loosing all my troops and others and millions of rss. I have no faith in the game anymore. I play on many accounts one has a constant unread system message displayed! 2 accounts have flashing red cross on infirmarys with no troops to heal! spent a lot of time and money playing this. Too  many bugs in the game now every update always causes problems. Many other clan members have had problems with shields dropping! we can not be all wrong. Shame really great game but just not worth the money or time if shields drop random and you loose it all.

Our clan has lost at least 10 shields in last 2 weeks, it happens any time, but always a 8 hr shield is involved, either alone or in combo with other 8 hr or 24 hr or 3 day shields

we have also had 5 players QUIT this game because support would not help and gave no compensation

Thank you everyone for the feedback. I've not had it happen to my account personally, but I can imagine the frustration. Usually when a clanmate messes up monitoring their shield, they are honest about it. The issue seems to be around game updates? From what I've gotten from most players I've spoken with atleast. 

Have you sent a ticket in to support? If they look into it, and itemize the actions, can you post it on here please?  

I recently had this happen to me with a 3-day shield.  7-14-2017

I sent plarium a message via Facebook. They told me I only placed an 8-hour shield when I know for a FACT I placed a 3-day shield. The results they sent me of my "attacks and one onslaught were inaccurate". We did several onslaughts with t1 tiers, to break down a meat shield. Plarium didn't write this in their report at all. They said that I only did onslaught with one 8-hour shield. I told them to send me a copy of the actual results. They said they already did a "thorough investigation" and refuse to help me anymore. After each onslaught I placed and 8-hour shield to cover my castle. Then, after the 4 onslaughts were complete I placed a 3-day shield , and moved my castle back into our stronghold. I checked to make sure I had all shields in place, the logged off the game. After about 4 hours I logged back in to check kvk score, and checked my shield again. That night after I got home from taking the kids to eat, I log in and I'm zeroed. My 3-day shield lasted about 12 hours. Yet, plarium says I used an 8 hour shield. And refuse to show me actual results. They only type me a message and send it via Facebook messenger. I have been playing a year and half. I have never had this happen before. I'm very disappointed. Faith: I also had this happen to my main account in Lirkmarren (k391) in the last KVK match. I stacked enough 8 hour shields to last 1 day, 8 hours. I noticed the game was acting extremely slowly, and causing people to crash as the round had started only hours before. So after I shielded, I logged out to head to bed for the night. Woke up to find out I had been zeroed after applying the shields.
