I came up with 110.8% due to the fact that from his invader spoils he crafted 4 pieces of epic equipment (Harold’s Tooth, Eric’s Horn, Olaf’s Armor and Sigurid’s Cloak). Then it says he crafted a weapon from those pieces (which would have been Brodin’s Flail), but he couldn’t use it due to him only being a lvl 48 (Brodin’s Flail requires lvl 50). So without the weapon, the amount that his Scouts increased Defense by is 110.8%.
