Ppl forgot distributive factor...8/2(1+3)...means 8/ ((2×1)+(2×3))....8/(2+6)....8/8...answer is 1. Anytime you get confused on ( )...use distributive factor...it simplifies the problem 😉

We have an exercise for you that seems easy only at first glance. Can you solve it and explain your answer?

So this has had a new response, but is only posting the opening admin puzzle question.

It gave me a new idea.

Does the question mark apply to the whole question? The standard  procedure would be yes.

However, does the puzzle  answer its self, by the question mark only applying to the 16,casting doubt on its veracity?

Giving the answer to the riddle in the question, that the correct answer is 1.

This is a time-killing zen-like exercise: no solution will be brought forward from the question-asker - ever!!!
